Vanq this is 5nl, if they hit a straight or baby flush, they never fold. We are not playing thinking players/

well one reason to bet the flop if checked to is so we can bluff s and win a bigger pot later

Yea even nl1k regs pretty much snap 2nd and 3rd nut flushes in most cases (although I'm sure on 2p2 when analyzing it they'd be hero folding all the time - reality is much different).

What you do in that hand vs a min donk is mostly up to reads but your equity on that board vs 100% of hands is like 54% equity, you have close to zero equity vs a legit range and your playability and implied odds are zero so yea ...

@ cjatud2012

Unless villain is pretty crazy and either value bets way too thin or is bluffing there on the turn alot (highly doubt either are the case) then you should be donk potting river there as ppl never fold when you are repping straights and flushes miss (and in your case the main straight draw missed as well so nobody will ever fold any sort of hand there ever.

Cheap look at flop. Very loose table. Two players here have already dropped 5-7 buyins already.

Full Tilt - $0.50/$1.00 Pot Limit Omaha (6 players)
Full Tilt Hand Converter Tool from CardsChat.com
SB Hero: $169.35
BB: $56.40
UTG: $26.20
MP: $45.15
CO: $119.70
BTN: $40 (sitting out) - Sitting Out
Pre-flop: ($1.50) Hero is SB and dealt :10c4: :9s4: :9d4: :jd4:
UTG folds, MP raises to $3.50, CO folds, Hero calls $3, BB calls $2.50
Flop: ($10.50) :2d4: :9h4: :qh4: (4 players)
Hero bets $10.50, BB calls $10.50, MP raises to $41.65 (All-in), Hero wonders what to do?

Its just we never lead with hands that are not pure nuts or monster draws. It is not a very balanced range.

Even at a table where they are just throwing their money at you? And I mean they where betting stacks on just pairs.

Subbin'

I'm the guy who keeps spamming the HA section lol.

Internet connection dropped out last week so was bored and decided to watch Hellomaha series from DC that I downloaded a while ago but never bothered with it. Actually learn't quite a lot from it and now I'm hooked on PLO. The standard of play compared with the same stakes at HE is just stupid, 18BBs/100 is sustainable right?. There's no need to table select , well on iPoker that is anyway.

?ok to limp in on sb?

Really trying to learn this, this "game"!
Not sure where to post questions, so if it in the wrong area, please tell me how to do this.
Is it ok to limp in on the sb with only 3 coordinated cards.
I played a turbo game today, lasted only 28 hands before getting really bumbed out. Played the BB and limped in on the sb. I was looking for those "good" hands, which I never saw, even from the other players.

I dont really want to go into a major deal about this.

€1/€2 round of each last night. I've bought in for €200 and sitting on €2K or so after 5 hours. Game change to a round of each.

PLO round, its straddled to €5 re-straddled to €10, get 5 calls and I pot to €135 w/ KKAA, full table calls.

I need to flop the nuts ( or set/ or nut draw ) to continue right ?

I was assuming 1000bb stacks lol. but if there are 5 other people that see a flop and comes an unsuspecting board of Q72 rainbow, we still cant bet because obviously someone is going to hit something here and even if it is just 1 pair, we still dont have that great an equity.

Yea figured that

Effective stacks? You're talking like they have you covered which seems insane to me, lol

This game go's off on a big one once every 3 months or so, I've heard about it but even though I play there regularly I havnt seen it. There is one massive whale in town that comes down when hes not playing the big game in Galway, buys in for table max and open shoves for 3 hours until the game is massive. Funny thing is he is usually down like 4-10K, and binks the pot of the night at the end to usually breakeven. He is a massive plo winner in the big game, he has reported winnings of ~€300K over the last few months.

Lol 1/2 where everyone has 2k stacks?

Yea, but the pot is being straddled, and restraddled every hand basically making it a €1K game, if you are not playing ball you are given a must move button, and sent to the smaller game. Min buyin is now €500.

I was assuming 1000bb stacks lol. but if there are 5 other people that see a flop and comes an unsuspecting board of Q72 rainbow, we still cant bet because obviously someone is going to hit something here and even if it is just 1 pair, we still dont have that great an equity.

Meh, flop was close enough to that Q hi with rags, rainbow. It go's check/check bet €300/call and im lost. I end up folding. (would have binked a K on the turn but thats meh).

I know raising commits me as well, and im just not used to playing so big.

How dry does a flop have to be to cbet? Can we ever play TPTK as if it's good? I'm basically only cbetting with some type of equity atm
