Another thing, can someone explain why I have 42 tournies completed and 10 that aren't?

I've downloaded all my HH by email from AB and then picked them up with HEM but it keeps saying it has all of those already.

Yeah, when you exit a game, if you do so too quickly, like, say, you shove get called by aces, you are drawing dead on the flop, so you just quit the game, HEM wont be able to pick up a completed game... Just let them sit for a bit after you bust out, then you will have no problems.

Also, if you can find where you finished in those games, you can input that data. But it may skew your HEM red line a tad, as i didnt see the final showdown..

Well, about a third of the way through the month and I'm doing alright. I'm still way above EV and I can't really figure that one out. I'm playing around an 11/7/2.6 game. I'm guessing because I'm hitting a lot of luck on HU once I get there. Not sure about that though. But here's my graph since the beginning of the month.

Edit: I just checked all of my hands for these tournies and it says I'm only up $11.32 in EV. Not really sure why this graph is showing me at over $50+.

A sample size of 50 games isn't worth analyzing too much.. Your probably just shoving into the tops of ranges and getting lucky, who knows. Also your distribution is heavily weghted towards first placings, so you are probably shoving wide and getting called ITM, and winning. But again, not really a sample size worth worrying about too much.

Im not too sure why it's showing that your 11 or 50 up, i can't really know wihtout looking for myself..

Shouldn't downloading my tourney histories and then importing to HEM fix this though? I've done that and still got nothing.

Yeah, I'm not too worried about it really. I know I'm playing good hands, and there's only a couple of spots where I just really sucked out hard. I was just noticing it and typing my thoughts due to being tired!:D

dg. If they were satellites(with multiple 1st places) or Step tournies and you won then they show up as incomplete because they don't play out til one person has all of the chips. Not sure if that's your problem, but I get that often whenever I am playing satty's and win, just have to manually enter the winnings, place and check the completed flag.

Did you accidentally time out while doing the "OMG LOLZ You just got busted" dance? Very nice hand!:D

Edit: By the way, what the hell did he show up with here?

Villan showed As4h, I believe.

No satty tournies, all the same games, 9man SnGs.

And As4h makes that hand even funnier, even though it was obviously second nuts.

Just to say I have had the same when I was using my hem trial, I wonder if its hands where we have been knocked out and drawing dead so shut down the sng before the river?

I tried PS when I read your post CJ and couldnt login.

So, I'm back to playing on pokerstars.

For the heck of it, I'm giving myself a little personal challenge where I'll play the .10 360-seat MTTs x 100. And if I do well, I might even increase it to 200 games and possibly up to 1000 games. Just for LOlz...I'll probably 4 table these at a time and will be following a fold/raise or shove strategy. These games are super soft and I'm sure I'll be able to run deep in quite a few of them. I'm hoping that the deep runs will be a cheap way to improve on my late stage MTT game, where I'm lacking...

Hey philthy! Haven't seen you in a while.

.10c 360seaters sound like hell to me, but I wish you luck with them.

The problem with the .10/360 is that the variance is about 10X normal. People will call anything with ATC. They suck out on you more often than normal. You have to nit the crap out of it until you are certain to have the nuts - then shove. Believe it or not, you will be called.

Oh, yeah. The variance is nuts at these games and I'm sure I'll run into a boatload of bad beats/calls/players/etc, but I don't mind. It's not hard to get though 50%-75% field and from there its just hoping I run good from then on. Also, the payout is pretty decent for the effort...

This challenge is more fun than anything. I just want to complete it and see if I can do well enough to possibly profit from it. All I need to do is run well, FT a few, and possibly win one or two and I'm good. Of course, I hope to do way better. Also, if I do well, I'm hoping to prove that with solid play, it's possible to beat the super micro-stakes. Heck, I was even considering playing the .02/990 hyper turbos...maybe I'll attack those next.

Also, I'll be tracking my games on a spreadsheet. Link in sig if you want to follow.

Played 3 games today. Finished one game at 126/360 and ITM in the other two games at 19th and 26th. So, I think I did fairly well. I didn't really start running well until blinds were at 100/200 (in the ITM games), I was milking a ~10-15BB stack for the longest time until I managed to hit a few double ups, but then blinds went up and I milked another 10-15BB stack. So, I really never had a strong stack, just enough to get by and push a few people out with well timed shoves.

On the last game, I was sitting on a 24K stack, blinds at 1k/2k antes at 250 I think...20 players left. I'm in the BB, UTG and UTG+1 limp in, folds to SB who shoves for ~4K total. So, I come over the top with A10o to isolate and pick up some dead money. UTG (~35K) tanks for a bit, then calls with AJs and wins.

omfg... I dropped down to 3$ games to try to win a leaderboard (currently 16th on the Mars low orbit and looking to place on the high orbit as well)...

the play has been so horrible I have wanted to gouge my eyes out...

But somehow through natural selection, only those with the uncanny ability to consistently hit three outers against you are left...

Its been a cruel and dark break even world today.

Since we were all talking about never giving up until you are out of chips I thought I would post this. It's from a DTB member and I asked if I could share it over here. He gets knocked down to 5 chips early in the tourney and then takes command and whips some tail. Good video!

Link

It's not a full length SnG either. He's edited it down to the good parts. About 8 minutes I think.

That vid is nuts dg. I have been down to 20 chips before and come back and won SnG's. And last year I got down to 35 chips and came back and won one of the CC freerolls, I'm going to see if I can find that HH

Don't remember exactly how many chips it was, but I was down to 0.4bb in a MTT last year and came back to take 2nd. Those feel pretty good. :)
