I have known players who had their accounts under investigation becuz they aquired funds illegally. Not saying that you did. But it so happens I did trade with person and I was under investigation my self from cake security and had my account locked. They asked me how was I related to person in question. I told them I just made trade as he requested. Then a few days they unlock my account and I was clear. The investigation will go with all parties involved with so called account. So if you had a red flag, somewhere down the line how you got the $$$$ to get ur bankroll and to cashout will alert an investigation.
There has to be more to the story you are telling about. I doubt if cake or party will take anyones account without a good reason.

Op, as long as you have been a member here, you should really know better than to post something like this without facts to back it up. As Paul Harvey used to say, "And now you know the rest of the story." We await the rest of this story as there is surely more to it as others have said. I expect new members to make posts like this, but should you not know what responses you will get when you cry wolf with no pictures of said wolf?

OP looked at your PTR and I don't blame Party for investigating. You're a huge loser who won just north of $1K less than 50 hands at 600nl. They have to at least check for things like chip dumping (I looked at the hands and they seem fine to me you just got lucky).
While I'm at it you're still pretty damn bad (limp calling KQo from UTG???). If you really do need to do this for a living you REALLY need to work on your game.

ok sounds good. I will post the email when they reply why I have been permantly banned and my money seized indefinately. poofy made some good comments, but the rest of you don't be too gung ho to defend the sites if you don't play on them. I don't think anybody with absolute certainty can claim that these sites have never done anything sketchy. Despite fact or fiction, I'm out $2880. As soon as I get the money, I will gladly let you know and retract everything I said. That's a big hit in my bankroll, almost 10 percent. I can't wait forever. Cheers everyone!

1) "Protecting their player's interests" is also stopping cheaters and rule breakers. I'm not saying you cheated, I'm just saying that this can be applied to people who have multiple accounts or collaborate with other players or cheat in any other form.
2) Why would partypoker worry about your "couple grand" winning streak when people like Larry_D ($12k), TheTriplets3 ($12k), oSpiel888 ($9k), N0nbeliever ($9k), nuuuhr33 $9k), nuuuhr33 ($9k), agregator777 (($8k), Onetimeplz ($8k), and vivalatvija ($6k) played the ring games for nice profits last month, yet none of them had their funds seized?

You cannot preserve the bankrolls of fish by removing the good poker players.
If you remove all of the smart people from the poker tables they'll just make their all-in moves against other fish. The fish are still broke, and still leave for that reason. You are *not* preventing anybody from being chased away due to losing at poker.
They make pretty good money in rake on those hands. PTR has you at $757 profit (yes, this is probably off a bit as they can't see everything) with the house make $375 off of your play. So while you're a winner, so are they. But they're also making money from each person who wins a hand at the table (even the fish who lose most of the time).
And that is an unusually low payout-to-rake ratio. Look at the people I mentioned earier: Larry_D ($26k profit, $42k paid in rake), TheTriplets3 ($41k profit, $50k paid in rake), oSpiel888 ($49k profit, $41k to rake), N0nbeliever ($9k in profit, $9k in rake). Usually PartyPokes a lot more. You were just running hot.

The funny thing is I always played low stakes and kept a low balance for fear of this happenning. i decide to play fulltime and play higher stakes and "bam!" my worst nightmare comes true. I can only image how the poor souls who have money lost at FT feel. Gonna only play one site that is devoted to only poker, old faithful. Forgive me for starying. Lead me from the temptation of reload bonuses!

So they banned you permanently for pulling constant hit and runs? I really know nothing of Party's TOS, but that seems to me to be a really weak reason for a permanent ban and seizure.

I dont play at party so dont know. I also dont read all the small print of the TOS (but think I will in the future) but you should read it and see if they have a clause that stses min buy in, quick win, and table jumping is not allowed.
I personally hate players who do that. However, it happens a lot, and I was not aware it is a violation (I will note players who do in the future and report them if it is). So read your TOS and you can email them back with the explanation "I am a PITA poker player, but technically did not break any rules, so please pay me". and see what happens......

Bizarre. I never heard of anyone being banned from any site for that reason, and I can`t see anything in Party`s TOS about it. Potential causes for a ban, according to their site, are all the usual stuff about collusion, using banned programs (ie.bots), money laundering, providing false details, multi-accounting etc.

I've got to admit that that is one weird reason to ban someone. If that really is their only reason then I would contact whoever regulates them and dispute it.
Hit and run is annoying but common practice. I've done it myself to be honest
I can't see banning someone and certainly not taking their money.

I've never heard of anything so unbelievably ridiculous I'm finding it hard to believe, I'd love to be proven wrong, but for party poker to even email such is thing is laughable to say the least in the context in which they said it. It's like someone is having a joke and looks fabricated
Short stacking doesn't effect them in the slightest and people play short stack poker for a living grinding out high stake rakeback etc..
The site gain more rake, it's not in their interest to even do that.

The way this was wrote is like someone else has edited a message and input that data.
Party would never send such a stupid email, like that unless someone is hating their job at the minute and stealing your money. The thing is, even if they DID do this and banned you from their site for "short stacking" then that's one thing but...then confiscating your funds would NEVER be acceptable and they would never be able to do this with the way you played at all. They would/could be sued and it certainly isn't worth their reputation being put on the line for something so small..
I think someone is telling porkie pies into the real reason why they was banned.
Your email looks slightly legit until the reasoning as to why you was banned looks like someone who is trying to type professional makes a pigs ear of it.
I don't believe it, sorry..I'd love to be proved wrong though.

If it's true then I will apologise..but hell...partypoker and such a reason for banning and confiscating seems so unbelievable considering the damage this could do to their image if posted on several poker forums.

This just smells all fake. Usually much more is being said and written in these e-mails.... Especially because of a ban. And Shortstackin I have done it countless times. All in with a good hand, win or bust and i leave.
