Intelligence is very close to Fear. ~Master Rickson Gracie

That being said, Fear is the mind killer, so face your fear.
IMO being nervous means you can be excited b/c it's something interesting and worthwhile. I get nervous but I interpret it as excitement.

Yes

Yes, the bigger the hand the more nervous I seem to get. I try not to show any tells but I do get nervous at the poker table.

as I meditate before playing with you to do things to keep me calm always. My serenity comes from a good study of the technical part and expect both good and bad results and keep the same way

Sometimes I want to smash the monitor in anger. I understand that the nerves interfere with the game but I can not help myself.

Yes, I'm nervous. Especially at the end of the tournament, when the big bets and there are few players.

First few live games I was definitely nervous, moreso about doing something dumb like acting out of turn. Don't get nervous playing online, it just goes away after so long.

yes it always happened to me. Maybe because I was just new in poker. I have to be calm and patience.

The strange thing is that i can get very nervous, talking a lot of stupid things, but that doesn't reflects on my game:)
Just keep the same level of game + screaming around

You have to try every time you get nervous controlling them, it's a delayed process but you get good results, in my opinion all the players get nervous just that some control it more than others

I like to have some nerves when I start to play. I seem to play better. But later the nerves go away and I am in my game.

LOL I don't really get nervous with online play but even tho i've been playing cash games at the casino for awhile now I still get nervous when I first sit down and usually my first time goin all in lol it's weird. One time a guy said he called me only because he thought I looked nervous because I was bluffing him .. He was wrong anyway my two cents..

I try to calm my anger during the game, but it's not always possible to keep poker face when you're brutally moved! But for a successful game you just need to keep self-control,it is necessary to work on yourself, although it is easy to speak, but it is difficult to do!

Nervousness for me falls into the category of negative thoughts or emotions which, although natural, are best keenly observed. Keep them in check!

I try to keep myself calm and focused during my sessions, but it is not always easy to maintain patience with the variance, randomness and "weird" actions of the players around. Something that has helped me improve my mindset is to meditate before and after the sessions and also review a spot or another in which I'm sure I could have played in a different way. Poker by itself is a game of skill and strategy and everything starts in our pre flop action, so it is necessary to understand the dynamics of the game as well as ranges, positions and profile of the villains. It is worth remembering that we should always analyze any long-term action and have the perception whether it is profitable or not.

Never. I'm playing because i love to play this game. That's why I can't be nervous :)

I am jealous, I hope I will also learn to treat moving calmly, You are right, it's just a game and I play it like all other games. Poker will be fun only if you do not risk a lot of money. So you need to follow the basic rules of bankroll management.

I got nervous at the worst time for me. My first "big" tournament was today. It was a $400 hyper turbo on ACR. I got sucked out a few times and it ruined my mood and my game. I didn't want to lose but that's exactly what happened. I had zero confidence even with the deep stack they gave me... it was a learning experience at least. I'll be back at it once I cash in another freeroll! I hope your nerves are under control soon and that you can play with confidence. Best of luck to you!
