Do you mark your opponents?

I don't mark all players or even most players, but I do use colors to flag certain players and will sometimes leave notes.

I have a couple colors assigned to certain groups I belong to (including this one) and then one color for really annoying players and that's where I will sometimes leave notes.

I mark the players with notes and colors who plays bad. So when we cross paths again I play them accordingly and it works out well for me.

I leave notes about certain plays somebody makes. For example - "Raised pre-flop, checked flop, folded when opponent bet."

No, I don't tag players at the poker table. They can change their style of play. I try to get information while playing.

I'm the exact same way the last time I marked my opponent thinking he played a certain way I lost to him because of the fact they adjusted there gameplay later on in the tournament. I just try to freestyle my strategy and try to be unpredictable as I can.

I use only three labels:

Green: recreationalist;
Yellow: fishes - knows the hands but do unorthodoxy movements;
Red: sharks - knows the game foundations (can be tight or loose) and put me in hard spots often/or avoid me when playing.

yes I do make notes on players on ACR. Seems often in money games you see the same players over & over and making notes such as "fish, Bingo player, Bluffs a lot, goes on titl when loosing, Good player etc. helps me anyway.

You can use HUD on Bovada\Ignition Casino. It would only keep opponent stats during a session on cash game table or during an individual tournaments. The HUD retain cumulative stats only for your play.

The HUD is best used to review your own play.

I understand the stats would only be for that single session as far as for the other player but I thought there was a rule saying it wasn't allowed on bovada or ignition.... is there an App or software one could download on an android device to allow a HUD to run during play?

I mainly play micro and I find most players change their style. I think I do too depending on my day, my bankroll, how many tables I’m at. So for me…no I don’t tag others.

It is extremely rare to put marks with color or with the characteristics of the player. Pay attention to abnormal players, strong players and thugs at the table.

Couple years ago I mark player. Now not any more. I think that marking is not much helpful.
