Nit - Red - fold if he bets
Purple - Bad Lag, let him bet for you
Yellow - reg - play straight up
Green - money- passive calling station
Blue - like yellow but a lot smarter

I like these. You seem smart. How long have you been playing? Cash or tourney? Plo or nlhe?

Yes I mark the terrible fish and the very solid tight players. Both are equally as dangerous in online poker rooms, the fish probably have the upper hand on WPN sites though.

Got an idea for you: play on wpn, play like a fish, profit!

Can't, it will mess with the live game too much. Play more on WPN though, give it some time, you'll see or maybe you won't.

Yes of course! Poker is a game of information. The more info you have the better in my opinion.

Wise man. Can you imagine having the ability to color code and take notes and not using it?

Here is a good one I used back in the day but got away from for some reason. “Slow playing donkey”. So if this person leads on the river you simply raise them and most of the time they will fold. If they check the river to you only value bet top range hands especially if the draws get there.

I use different colors to mark some opponents to remember the moves they made. I also take some notes to check their betsizes and handranges ;)

I usually play tournaments, so opponents with tables change often in hyper speed. It makes no sense to mark them

I do mark my opponents

Not always cause I play mostly multi table tournament.
But the ones that put you all in with 42 and win I do mark.

I unfortunately haven't, but I've learned now that I definitely should, but even more unfortunately, sites I play in doesn't give you very good chances to mark your opponents. There are tons of fishes, yeah, but the few professionals hunting them... that's another story.

Yes, it is a good option to have a quick idea of who we are playing with and with whom we already had previous experiences.

Yes, and I consider it invaluable information. The more you play the more you come up against the same people. Knowing the sharks from the donkeys from the fish is a huge advantage.

I sometimes add notes in my own shorthand.

I celebrate strong players that I don't play against Fishers - who DO NOT LEARN to play yet, where you can bluff Aggressors who call frequently This is enough for me, and then it's a matter of technique and luck.

I do not mark. Since it seems to me it is better to follow the opponent's play in a particular situation.

Only during the game. If someone is playing like a lunatic it soon becomes apparent.

Not just lunatic players, I believe that every player can evolve and that a tournament or a wrong hand will define the player's profile.
