When a beautiful women comes to your table, you start asking yourself : Is she find me attractive? What if I ask her to go out together after the tournament...
Ok, it's no problem if you think like that in a normal tournement, but in an important tournement I suggest to you to forget about all that thiks, because some women are making a nice look (some time a strang look) and showing somes parts of there body specially to disturb your concentration.
So, you have to control all you emotions. Forget about the beautiful women, if nessecary stop watching them when you are in a poker table.

No the first thing I think is; is this a competent poker player or a rec player? Though I may blush if she looks me in the eye, I do not give myself any illusions of the possibility of a hook-up I figure I have better odds at getting a Royal Flush with the entire table stacked and in the pot :rofl:

At the Bellagio I remember a very (very) attractive woman (there must have been a runway show taking place somewhere) who was at the same 20/40 table I was at and she took a seat beside me..she had a diamond the size of about half a walnut on her finger. She knew how to play, wasn't great .. but she had fun. I was balancing a red bull and a (Canadian) Caesar in both hands at the time and the table was good..joking, laughing and competitive. That's what we're all there for.

You play your hand like no other vs that person, your objective is to make the best decision in the moment, to win the most or lose the least depending on the situation. You're both playing for the same purpose, so sympathy for others won't help you maximize your profits.

I almost never played poker live, just on the internet, so I haven't experienced in any similar situation yet. But in my opinion, we are in a tournament to play poker, no matter the appearance of our opponent, what we have to pay attention to is the way they play, trying to understand how the opponent thinks and plays, in order to defeat them .

There are 2 types of beautiful women playing poker: the tough professional players,this type I play my normal game. the other type is your typical ,casual tourist who is only there to have fun,those I play them differently: I never check raise them and sometimes I even tell them to fold when they hesitate to call and show them after they fold.

If it is live, and she is raising you... looked perplexed... look back at your cards... put your sunglasses on... and then engage in a long stare-down... disgustedly muck your 2-7 off.

If it is online, play as normal, as it is likely an overweight middle-aged guy that you are up against.

Can be difficult but definitely FUN!!!

Always like a beautiful woman at the table but I am extra cautious when I first play a woman for the first time. They do tend to use their gender as a very useful tool against some people.
We took a poker cruise a few years ago and let me tell you there were beautiful women everywhere. You couldn’t help but lose your concentration once in a while. I’m only human. The prettier the woman the more cautious I am on the poker table!!

Another footnote

As I have mentioned before, we took a poker cruise in ‘18 so I played a lot of poker with beautiful women sitting at the table. With that being said, I made a lot of money playing against women that were there to have fun!! I was always polite and cordial and, at least for that cruise, took their money. In a gentleman’s way of course. I actually started looking for tables with women on them. After a long day in the sun, after a good meal, and a few drinks that evening, it was like taking candy from a baby. I would get on a table before dinner. Stay on that table until 3-4 in the morning!! It was great. Best cruise I’ve ever been on!!

Make sure she is sitting next to you. I tried doing that once while the dealer was shuffling his cards and about to deal.

I was a little disappointed when she completely ignored me, but the then dealer yelled "KNOCK THAT OFF!" and had the floor escort me out.

Sadly being ignored still ranks in my top ten most successful encounters with a woman at the poker table.
