I don’t usually play cash games, but here I couldn’t really say a situation where I would fold KK preflop. Not against an oneopponent in any way.
If more than one very tight player starts to raise preflop, maybe I would fold, otherwise not.

Only at the situations like ticket bubble, or multi all ins before u with huge stack, because bubble tournament fold don't make sense, you play to win the tournament or only for make a little bit money...

On the bubble, sometimes it happens. Agree, i was eliminated during bubble with AA :)

yes, it can be of course, but this is an isolated case and it does not mean that you need to reset such a hand, you played correctly and were unlucky, I think it is not worth dropping such a hand under any circumstances

Depends on the opponents stats and playing tendencies.

It depends on how many players are involved.
In multi pots I fold instant if no one is shortstacked. If I am the first raiser and someone shove all in I would fold in fast forward games, because I often run in AA or Axs and lost. ^^

Absolutely I’d fold KK in a heartbeat in a tournament that matters to me! It’s usually pretty darn obvious when someone has AA.

In a 6-max cash game my answer would be a much more nuanced.

It depends, but sometimes one fold can you bring to a Tournament Cashprize.

Honest answer? It depends how deep you are and what stakes. I’ve played plenty of live 5/10 games 1000BB deep, and having that many BBs you will run into many situations where that it is plus EV to fold pre. Playing in tournaments you can run into the same situation early on in some of the very deep tournies. But it comes down to also knowing your opponent and the general tendencies of your player pool

If it's not bubble situation especially in a satellite, I can't imagine to fold that hand pre-flop.

in general, answering your question, I say: no! But there are several situations that could require a fold, such as being on the bubble in a tournament...

I can’t see myself folding KK in any situation I’m going all in if I get the opportunity
