This is the flop that did come. I guess this would be an easy fold if SB bets out right? - Assuming I had flat the 3 bet....

Flop: ($4.55) 6 :diamond: Q :spade: A :spade: (2 players - 2 are all in)

SO:

1) big cards
b) connected cards
3) suited aces
d) in general try to play bad AAxx's in small pots as implied odds hands or commit enough to play for stacks pf/on flop
&) backdoor draws are big
then) 3bet a purely depolarized range of big suited connected cards + AAxx
also) i like this game

on the right track?

I think you can open up your 3 bet range to just big suited connecters. Hands like 10-9-8-6 one suit in position against most persons can be 3 bet. Not like you are going to 3 bet it everytime but there are more benefits of 3 betting preflop rather than calling.

Gonna post my difficult hands in here rather than my thread i think as this will get more attention for analysis.

Having a bit of trouble playing AAxx hands out of the blinds, is this even good for 3betting here, i thought so as it was at least suited, but should we be looking for a bit more co-operation oop and just raise hands like this IP? I ask b/c on the flop i don't have a clue!

Preflop, I know people who swear by 3 betting AAxx everytime but this is one of the situations where a flat call would be more beneficial. You have so little going with the hand that you never hit the flop and are left in so many difficult decisions.

Yeah its not a fun flop. I am more likely to lead out here because I have a T and the A blocker. Its not much but by betting you are turning your hand into a bluff but you really cant play it any other way.

I dont bet that much though. Its not a bad bet size but I bring it down closer to half pot. He folds regardless of what you bet.

So, I won a $5 MTT and now my BR's at $860, do you think I should move up from PLO10 to PLO25?

Or should I go step by step and play PLO15 first? (Yes, RedKings has PLO15!)

Give me one reason why you are not betting? The board is dripping wet.

I bet out of course. They all folded. What I was wondering was would it have made any good sense to have checked here at all?

i don't think checking can ever be good, so many turns that suck

Btw, you should probably fold pre-tourney. 20c rake is awful

1/3 of the deck is bad for you. Not need to slow play.

I played my first session of PLO25, the play was a little better but still very beatable.

Lost 3.5 BI early on (All were almost 50-50 when the money went in), then I found some juicy tables with players sitting with 200-400 BBs. At the end of my session I had three tables where I was 250-300 BBs deep.

What matters- I ended up 4 BI.

Now the question, should I take shots at PLO50? Have about 19-20 BI (Moving down if I loose 4 -5BI?).
