Yeah, you're beat but I throw the extra $32 in because I hate money and folding.

Why not just shove river? It is not a big overbet and most likely whatever calls 104 will call 136 too.

Yeah yuck, but how can you fold. He has a set right?
Realise it's about as dry a board as you can get so you're value betting, but why not bet pot on turn or bring out your huge over bet on turn. Take the win, get the hand behind you etc.

(Ofc take w/grain of salt, not maximising value is one of my main probs, lol)

Can't see a problem with that line either LD. Still think he has a set, either those 8s or looking again, even on the flop. Be lovely if villain shows only AK or KQ!

lol @ folding turn

Why would this be so irrational? A pair, a 3rd heart, and a straight on board? I think, someone playing a very tight style, could get away from the hand. The caller, raising the turn after smooth calling the pre and flop. A 9, hearts are all very reasonable hands. If he has a 9 or hearts, you have 3 possible outs. (A,A or 9(assuming he does not have a 9)

I'm not saying I would fold, however if there was a time to fold Aces, the turn would be the best time. Now you could also fold the river to, if a heart or connecting card comes, but the 9 makes it impossible to fold.

ugh annoying spot:

Pre Flop: ($3.00) Hero is BTN with A<font color='black'>♠</font> A<font color='red'>♥</font>
1 fold, MP raises to $4, 1 fold, Hero raises to $12, 2 folds, MP calls $8

Flop: ($27.00) 3<font color='red'>♥</font> 6<font color='black'>♣</font> K<font color='red'>♦</font> (2 players)
MP checks, Hero bets $14, MP calls $14

Turn: ($55.00) 2<font color='red'>♥</font> (2 players)
MP checks, Hero bets $38, MP calls $38

River: ($131.00) 8<font color='red'>♦</font> (2 players)
MP checks, Hero bets $104, MP raises to $136 all in

Another crazy idea, but what about checking the river? It all depends on how much you want to be playing for, but I have always tried to play small pots. Yes, you want to get maximum value. But you have already invested a ton of money $12 flop, $38 turn. The turn call, without him raising has to be a set. Just seems like you are being the aggressor with lot of your hands, and in that case, everyone will check to you all day long with very strong hands. IMO.

I just figure I wanna be somewhat balanced and I think it works out better letting me bluff cheaper vs. getting the more value when I have it. Could be wrong just my in-game guess.

Actually kinda the opposite. Like I think QQ is gonna play better as a flat first off because squeezers behind second he's gonna fold too much when I 3b these positions and even when he flats it's not like I'm gonna be winning too many huge pots. Like even if he raise/calls something like 99 he may call flop fold turn on a bunch of boards.

On the other hand if I flat he's going to value bet multiple streets thinner, bluff multiple streets a decent amount, take ch/c lines with worse hands, and generally I'm just going to be able to extract value really well postflop IP in spots he's going to have to play super face-up. The only reason I'd 3-bet in these positions is if I think he's exploiting the shit out of the fact that my 3b range is literally KK+ and then a bunch of bluffs and in that case yeah I have to start 3-betting, but the average 200nl 6m zoom reg is not like that.

I was about to say "must be hard being you," then saw last hand...

Meh, you still won more when someone jammed into your top set.
