Yeah man. James Hudson video. Really like his stuff. Hes got some good ones on how HUD stats work together to find villains tendencies.

I think what he said was basically that x/c is a decent play on a particular street when you're almost at the top of your range and villain can't have a strong hand. It seems pretty obvious but tbh ive never really done this until recently because regs are more aggressive.

Sorry to hijack ur thread, Deco!

Remember when mine was like 95% lol what a fish. Im closer to 65% now as well.

Stuff went a bit tits up once I left for Thailand, still as long as I'm positive it could be worse. Not sure whether to continue at zoom I may try stacking regular tables as I miss playing fish. Really need to get myself a monitor, only been on my laptop half an hour and my necks killing.

I've moved in to a house with two other players and 6 more within the same street. Will take photos tomorrow.

this thread on 2+2 about a european in Thailand is quite the entertainment, best thread ever in my opinion and I haven't even read all of it yet

http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/1...ry-warning-wall-text-itt-1375134/index14.html

lol I seen that thread as well and was following it for a bit when I was playing 6max hypers.

It was hilarious how detailed he got about pretty much everything including his life story and how he was an awkward kid and virgin until he went there and found his girl loooooooool

I love how he drew a cartoon face in the pictures in the beginning and how people right away started offering money to him :) Not a bad player I just find the whole thread the funniest read ever, even though at the same time he's doing what he wants so it's funny cause it's true basically, Im pulling for him to play higher stakes SNG's and crush

Found out the house 3 of us are paying 19K Baht each for to another poker player cost him 17KBaht to rent for the entire house. He's made no mention he's doing it for profit. Paid my rent yesterday.

What's my line? :p

Did you not shop around at all? idk how much Baht is but paying 57k for one that costs 17k seems like shopping around you would have found something much much better. Definitely look at what else is there, and then if you like the current house tell him you'll each pay x (where x is what you're willing to pay) or you're leaving the next month. Otherwise just tell him you're leaving and move into the best alternative.

Ye I know city centre apartment prices which aren't much less than this. Didn't realize how cheap suburban house prices are. It's not so much the price but the principal of the guy who's organizing it taking a very big cut that's bothering me.

I'm going back home for Christmas and doing some travelling round the Islands so won't be getting any more Chiang mai rentals unless I come back January which I aint decided on. However there's people who plan on staying here up to 12 months so I think I'm going to have to tell the guy to mention he's doing this for profit to other potential house mates at the expense of shitting where I live the next month.

Don't say anything on 2+2 if you find the thread Zach. I need to talk to the lad taking rent check there isn't a reasonable explanation for this before kicking up a fuss. He's paying the bills and mentioned a small mark-up to account for future vacancies but I don't think it accounts for a 300% price increase. From a selfish perspective I'd just wait my month out and leave without shitting where I live but I think profiting from the other renters is something that should be mentioned within the houses ad. Bit of a tricky spot.

I used to just have check/calling ranges on rivers where villain has no air once I know they turn hands in to bluffs but it;s a hard read to come by when your check/folding all the time so I've been trying to do it readless more often with the bottom of my value range.

Hero (MP): $100.00
CO: $139.04

Pre Flop: ($1.50) Hero is MP with A  K
1 fold, Hero raises to $3, 1 fold, BTN calls $3, 2 folds

Flop: ($7.50) T  Q :spade: 2 :club: (2 players)
Hero bets $4.73, BTN calls $4.73

River: ($40.96) Q :club: (2 players)

Final Pot: $96.96

Found this hand interesting from a balance perspective. Villain is a reg I've hardly any hands on.

SB ($256.98) 257bb
Deco354 (BB) ($138.38) 138bb

Pre-Flop: ($1.50, 6 players) Deco354 is BB :qc4: :ac4:
4 folds, SB raises to $3, Deco354 raises to $9, SB calls $6

Flop: :8c4: :2h4: :2c4: ($18, 2 players)

Turn: :10d4: ($42, 2 players)

River: :4h4: ($102.16, 2 players)
SB checks, Deco354 ($87.3)?

This is the range I arrive on the river with. 76% of it I'm shoving the flop with for value. A balanced range here would contain 32% bluffs 68% value so it appears even if I shoved my entire range here I would still be value heavy.

A few things I'm considering:
*bluff equityless hands with good blockers on the turn
*Bluff good overcards on the turn
*Defend less when I'm the SB in this spot seeing as it's very difficult to not have a value heavy range.

How are you so wide with 2x hands but have hardly any other missed club hands? like when are you not taking this line with T7cc but you'll show up with 42s?

Taking a break from poker today. I got hit by an SUV whilst trying to U-turn on the superhighway today. Somehow managed not to break anything (other than the bike which is trashed :p) but has really put me off driving a bike as I'm too inexperienced of a driver for it.

Might look in to moving back in to the city centre, either drive the relatively slow city streets and stay clear from the highway or just rely on cheap tuctucs/taxis from here on in.

I told you about my buddy who lives in Krabi.....

He had been in 3 (!) scooter accidents.... a smashed elbow and a broken collar bone.. in 5 years..... He is anything but a maniac....

He no longer uses a motor bike..... and expressed that he wished he still could... but according to him, this is soooooo common... like a bad beat, not a question of whennnnn

Hope you are healing fast.

Yeah, Jack what's his name (didn't really know him, so no disrespect... just can't remember his name) on 2+2 got killed by scooter out there about 2 years ago. It just looks like a huge mistake to try and transport yourself that way based on what I've seen.

Hope you're doing ok.

Yea Deco, be careful. Motorbikes are way more dangerous than they look. And thai drivers are maniacs to say the least.

I'm always re-raising the river with this hand... Your almost always infront here and I believe you lost a lot of money by not check-raising. Should've shoved the rest in and you had him hook line and sinker!... apart from that nice pot but could've won more.
