You definitely need luck to win tournaments, cause you never always get the best starting hands in poker. But the hands you play, can win you tournaments with luck. If you didn't need luck , then everyone who plays would be rich. Somedays I find myself out drawing others, other days I find I can't catch anything. Those are the days you have to learn to walk away, play another day. So you manage your bankroll, don't continue playing that day nothing is going right. Yes you need luck to win anything in life, I just call them blessing not luck.

I've never won a tournament without getting lucky. Given how many players you have to beat to take 1st place I feel like getting lucky is one of the key ingredients to winning a poker tournament

I had pocket ace had AK big slick two time was favorite 3-hand and lost the 3-hand ! Now I got to play freeroll to build up and it could a lot of time before I can play reel tournament patient is the term I use too win tournament ! But I will not QUIT knowing me ! Just happen to me again in a freeroll had AQ lost again QJ I hope luck change!

I played many tournaments and sometimes I win ,sometimes I lost, when I win ,I don't know if this happened because of me I had a good game , or was luck.

You always have luck. Your good luck is someone else's bad luck and vice versa.
