freeroll is clearly the easiest way to build your bankroll, i made over 500 bx in my first few months as an amateur, then jumped into high buy-ins and lost, that was before i learned about bankroll management... still new in the poker world and still learning. My first deposit ever was what i made through freeroll tourneys..

if you can I have won a few but you have to know how to administer to build a bank from that last night my brother won the league freokol intiation poker stars but nothing worth playing for hours and win and then lose in seconds what you won by bad administration I think I have to set goals and play serene if you spend hours playing and you win you should take a break and play again more serene and clear goals not play for nothing but that depends on everyone luck greetings:rolleyes:

You've gotta play a lot of freerolls to win one. Don't worry, it is very rewarding.

Freerolls are free so what do you have to lose? Also, freerolls are a great way for a newbie to gain experience and maybe even win a little money.

I have made at least 50$ every month by freerolls during the last year, but this means playing tons of them. When I'm down to 2 tables I'm feeling bored and something's missing. The average is 4 tables mostly all day long and sometimes it hops up to 12 tables. Once you manage to keep the good ones and donk away the bad ones (or turn them into good ones) it is very easy to make profit, but you have to know your enemies...notes are the key!!!:five:

I think yes, an example that you can make money in freerolls is Anette Obrestad Annette_15, she started playing freerolls and win a lot of money.
In the freerolls you have to play aggressive, to try to get the most chips, and try to get as far as possible, and if out fast tournament, nothing happens, it's free.

You can't make a "profits" considering the amount of the prizes. But you can parlay that money into bigger and bigger tournaments if the cards and opponents are right.

Obviously the profit from a freeroll will not be life changing but if you use that money to finance other buy ins you can certainly run up a bankroll primarily from freeroll winnings.

I cant say because i never really won first place.
you will win little so if you want to create all your bankroll on freeroll, you should play many freerolls for a very long time but yes it is possible even if you don't ship the tournament

It is absolutely possible to build a bankroll from freerolls. Volume, patience and resilience is critical.

Many tournaments only pay 10%-12% of the field. Consider looking for freerolls that pay a large % of the field. For example, some freerolls will pay 16%-20% of the field. Typically a min cash is only a few coins but over time, these small amounts will add up! The value in the tournaments that pay a large % of the field is that it is MUCH easier to ensure a cash a high percent of the time (a decent player can probably cash 2 or 3 out of 5 tournaments attempted).

For example, if you play on ACR consider the OTR freerolls which pay about 20% of the field. To think about this idea differently using the OTR example, 1 in 5 persons make the cash. In the OTR freeroll tournament, typically, if you make the 1st break - you'll make the cash (or be close to it).

Good luck!

yes you can, obviously you will not always get the 1st place, but it's about trying to continue, improve your game, change strategies, the complicated of the free is that many players bet everything without meaning, but yes you can

I just restarted on a site that I had played before with a new account. After 3 days I have 1Euro and 34 cents and a 2 Euro Ticket in my bag...
Everything is possible, but you have to play poker, not bingo as well in Freerolls :icon_tong

yes of course we can make a big profit I never made a deposit. But thanks to the gains I make on the frerrolls, I manage to raise funds of up to several dollars.

My best result on a Frerrolls tournament is 8th out of 5600 players. It is easier to rank in a tournament than a paid tournament, but the majority of the time brings me only a few cents. When there are more than 30, 50 or 100 players, unfortunately for me, I always lose at that moment.

Yes you can, maynot be at the rate you like now. Not to many 1000 freerolls anymore. Most are 10 to 100.

So it's slow going but you can build up a nice bankroll doing it, just takes time.

The only thing free rolls cost you is your time. If you're willing to spend your time playing them then they're profitable, although maybe not as profitable as regular MTT's unless you find some special ones with higher guarantees.

yes we can

Of course you can get good results with the free, just that you have to have better patience, we must remember that earning little money is to invest in a larger tournament to play for great prizes.
I have had very good results investing my profits from the free

A freeroll is good for those who need to give some up on the bankroll and have difficulty buying chips. But for this you will have to at least stay at the final table for profit to be significant. Even so, it can always be profitable to play a freeroll. Good luck.

I'v won $1,200 from freerolls in a year since I joined. Mostly on coinpoker when it was worth $0.30 a unit per coin and on ACR.

I always encourage members to play in freerolls, but not for reasons of winning. Online freerolls are a window into what I call the idiocy of online poker tournaments - and, by the way, that includes my own.

I do things in freerolls that I would never do in tournaments at a real casino. That is because, as I have said before in posts here at Cardschat, I use online freeroll tournaments merely to practice for offline tournaments. Sometimes online, (read many times) I go all-in with a 62o or something just as crazy just to see what happens. Of course, if you play with rag hands like that, the odds are heavily that you will not win. But, surprisingly I have won at times nonetheless.

If you really want to profit from tournaments, and I say this knowing that you can also lose your shirt, learn the game - online or offline - and go to a real brick and mortar casino that you trust. Meaning, a house that through experience you have learned is honest. Be prepared to bring a minimum bankroll of $300. That is where - and I speak from experience - you will profit if indeed you have really learned the game.

My advice, if you enjoy the game as I do, is not to play at all times. Where I play, I do so after midnight. I do this because, where I play, that is the time when the real poker players - the ones who earn their living from playing - show up for a game, And, we play all night long. I like to play with those who really know the game, and, of course, I like to profit from such players because it gives me a sense of satisfaction.

I do not like to play (with a few exceptions) during the day because that is when a lot of good ordinary people come to the casino with their hard earned cash just to try their luck and have a good time. I do not see them as much competition, and for that reason I would take no pleasure or satisfaction in taking their money or their good time away, and also for the reason that I want to enjoy the game playing equals while profiting. This is important to me, profiting from equals, although I know many would not hesitate to take the chips of those whom they would consider "fish."

Yup, if you want to profit, seriously, practice, really learn the game, and go a little crazy online like I do, but the real money is at the casino. At least, it is for me. That is where I really enjoy playing. But, that is my way. Others have their own way of doing things, and I do respect their way also. Don't look at my way as an example of the path you might take to profit. Look at the champions. They don't waste much time online, except where being bound by contract makes them money - win or lose. :)

One last thing. My casino does have tournaments on weekends in the daytime. They are not free. I have entered only 7 such tournaments, (the few exceptions I mentioned before) and I have won 3. In one of those tournaments, I took out in a final showdown a so-called television celebrity poker champion for whom I have absolutely no respect because he got angry that he did not win. He jumped up from his chair, and apparently called me an idiot, something, lucky for him, I did not hear. Why? Because - honestly - I was busy gathering many thousands of chips that were shortly converted to cash. Anyhow, good luck to you.

Win in the freerolls can be, the main thing is patience and the ability to play. But the profit is committed to something greater

I think volume is the key if you have time. I have been playing a lot recently and actually got 2nd in a $10 one on ACR. Also, the satty freerolls to the $1 mil gtd are cool. If you make it through all the steps and get a ticket and cash that tournament you have a nice starting br. Best of luck to you :)
