if you are in early position it is better to limp and wait for the behavior of the other players , I maximum pay 3BB , if you're in late position or the button can be a little more aggressive, if you have a very short stack is all in or fold , depending on how many players enter the hand

Playing with small pairs preflop depends on:
- Positions (you often open from late position)
- Situation in front of you
- Phase Tournament
- Size stacks
- Aggression your opponents
- ICM

Always call on the chance, when not discouraged by the rules.

Small pairs or any pairs is better than AK for me,it is only A high but some players with AK preflop play like they have monster in the hand.

Limp in

Well obviously limping in is a must with small pair cause your opponent can still get pretty lucky even with only 1 face card... I think going all in unless you are chip leader by large margin and even then its just not usually worth it.

with small pair, mostly limp, if it's not to expensive.
imho, in a long run play it cautiously, and if it's not to expensive, but you can win big with them, if you hit set, or lose small, opposite to AA.... :)

As a loose player should play small pocket pairs:

Early position — limp in not increased, the Bank, call the raise and f to re-raise, the same practice in middle and late position;
The blinds — raise and fold to re-raise.

How tight a player should play small pocket pairs

Early position — a tight player should fold;
Middle position — limp in not increased and the Bank throws in a raise;
Late position — limp in not increased Bank and raise, if there are several other players in the Bank;
The blinds — raise and fold to re-raise.

Get in as cheap as you can, and, hope for a set.

If you are in early positions it is better to fold and the less chips you compromise the better. With some luck you get 3 of a kind in the flop

if you cant win 30x your bet you shouldnt be limping low pairs

you need odds to hit your set on the flop, and remember the villans dont always stack off

I prefer to limp them from any position but only with both my and opponent's deep stacks. And often shove if stacks are small and there is something in the bank already.

Limping is ok, but I wouldnt showing from all positions as short stack. If get called, there is chance that we are against a bigger pocket...

Good move! It`s very strong and first of all an secret weapon in skilful hands!

Moreover this is a good chance to get a huge bank and feel fine for some time.

I'm going to suggest to never call an All-In with less than a pocket 7. Personal opinion.

As a normal hand You should play it carefully, Depending on what kind of Pocket you got.

If you are talking about a small pair from your hand & the communitary cards then it's not recommendable to play too agressive unless you got the biggest stack. but at that point you gotta know how to play it.

Depends on stacks, position and how the table played so far. I like opening most of the time.

early phase in the tournament- raise 2.5 to 3 bbs
late phase- fold in the early position, raise 2 to 2.5 bbs but
