AA is a hand to play aggressively always pre flop. But in some situations I would fold, for example, against strong resistance on the river or turn in a spot against a bigger stack on an ITM bubble.

Giving up AA for me would be better not even playing poker. I never give up on that hand. Before flpo she is unbeatable and must be played aggressively, always.

Against 2 opponents, it's easy to call. If the game is for a ticket, and you win the ticket, then fold. If it's a cash game, call.

I'm in it to win the tournament. Play and play aggressive.

If this is for a few dollars and you make only a few when you cash then you should go in.
If you qualified for a high stakes tournement and the ITM prize is more then your usual buyin or bankroll you can find a fold.

fold AA well, it should be a couple of places before itm and a tournament with a large prize pool, otherwise I see no reason to fold two aces never

I fold if I have average chips and the big blind has many more chips than me, he could call with any hand since this situation does not affect him. go all-in or bet very hard so that only strong hands enter and analyze after folding what is the best way to bet, keep in mind that you do not risk too much if you see several projects on the table that could be completed, if by chance you get a full tries to be cautious.

I would call. If you can double up you can play your way further into the prize money and win more money. The ICM takes this into account. If you apply the ICM, you probably have a positive monetary expected value. And that's what it's about. I would only fold AA in this situation if it is a satellite tournament where everyone gets the same ticket if they end up in the prize money or, more simply, everyone receives the same prize money. Then it makes no sense to call because you are practically certain (over 99%) in the prize money if you fold every hand.

Why does it say banned under the users name :icon_bigs
passing out passwords >?

I certainly don't make the rules here ... BUT I'd think that folding AA would be worth a ban in this spot ;)

I hardly ever fold AAs on the bubble.

If it is a normal tournament I am not folding AA, I want to win not min-cash.

In a satellite I will consider folding if it's the bubble of a target that I see as a risk to my very nitty bankroll limit. I am certainly folding if its a bubble of a min-cash that would make me very happy to add to my new highest payout.

Yes this makes sense

I agree here but my previous posts come from a different angle where i have experienced el busto with AA when i have shoved pre flop in early position with stacks that can cover me, the reasoning for me to be more cautious now would totally reflect on the individual table dynamic and obviously, my chip stack size (alongside the overall number of players left)- ive been mega stacked before and in 2nd/3rd and 4th place to have either a chip leader or worst call and bang - im out when they hit their third J/Q/K/ or in a lot of cases - lower pockets.

I have folded AA probably 5/6 times pre flop when i have run deep to see callers spike a lucky set on the flop and i would have been out, it was in fact the tourney where i won over $12k where i recall folding AA with 16 players left - i went on to win that PS tourney so it worked out well for me.
I guess you got to go with your gut feeling as well as the math sometimes!

Its not as crazy as you may think

Vs me please fold of you have aa.

Make it to the last 20 or so of a big buy in and i promise you - it opens up many other thought processes when you are called by a big stack and your tourney life is on the line - a big different between $456 in 16th place and $12k in first lol

on the bubble i would always fold AA if its an all in. Now if you want to win the tourney, you will have to force the play sometimes.

Yup, makes sense to sometimes fold , poker is brutal sometimes , like a peach it’s sweet and juicy but gotta eat it slow. Don’t take a bite more then you can chew cause there’s a nut inside.:)

Personally, I always fold even aces on the bubble. It's a bubble.

Sometimes I fold with aces, this happens on the bubble, or when my opponent make a big raise on a dangerous river for me

You have two aces: you have 15bb. This is a push-fold. Preflop: You have one opponent all-in in front of you, and the other one call. By all accounts you have +EV. You should call here, despite the bubble.

This thread is embarrassing :( while at the same time, enlightening (I guess I need to open up my raising range even more while on the bubble... and here I was folding stuff like 95o... eff that... I'll be opening with this constantly now knowing how many are choosing to fold pocket Aces)
