Live because I find the interaction with the players is fun but online obviously i can play an MTT or SNG on demand and multiple tables.

There will always be pros and cons for both live and on-line games, On-line there are no Arguments or Miss-deals, the hands are settled by the computer so there is no waiting for Pots to be shared out if they finish up chopped, and no waiting for the dealer to shuffle and deal.
You can play multi table if you want, or play slots at the same time if that is your thing, and will play many, many more hands.
Live games give you the Human interaction we all need and it gives you the opportunity to make new friends, have interesting conversations with people you have never met before, and some times meet people over the table who you may have played against in similar tournaments.
Playing Pub Poker Leagues over the years has given me the opportunity to play in many Regional Finals and from there Qualify for National Finals, all in some Great casinos, all for free!
But to be honest I might never do anything like that again, because of this Covid pandemic, and the fact I am getting too old to travel that far, being a professional driver for many years you need to know your limitations, and feel time is passing me by now.
So On-line Poker has been a Godsend for me to keep playing a game I love, and in complete safety from catching Corona Virus.

When the fun Stops, STOP!

I also like both types. Each has its own pros and cons.

Both ! But with live tournaments at least the chance of your A high flush ( nuts on the flop ) losing to a runner runner straight flush to someone’s pocket 2s with their 2spade giving them a straight flush is way less of a chance than algorithms on PS 😤 or flopping quad Aces and losing to runner runner Royal in a $108 turbo ha frustrating

 I prefer live tournaments, but unfortunately, very few times I have been able to participate, but later I will enjoy those opportunities, in the meantime I will continue playing online.

There are a number of reasons that I play online only, but mainly because of a vision ipairment.

I have trouble reading from a distance, and the cards can be difficult to read.

Online, I have no problem with that.

I had an incident, once, at a live tournament: I asked the dealer if he would call out the cards,on the flop, and he refused. Said it was against the rules. Why? I don't know. That left me at a major disadvantage. That was my one, and only attempt at playing at a casino.

Once in a while I'd love to play live again, but I've really enjoyed all the online poker I've been able to play because of COVID. I do like the speed and the choice of tourneys available, being able to play more than one tourney, having stats on players as well as their sharkscope rankings, having stack sizes in BB at my finger tips without having to work that out or ask a player how much they have. There's a lot to like about online play.

Online is convenient...but laid back. I prefer live for multiple reasons. First the banter. But more importantly, tendency are easier to figure out live. Huge advantage. Plus I do not drink and play. Even when I play live poker at the casinos...I always request a table where at least 1/2 the players are drinkers! Much easier to WIN!

I really do prefer online tournaments. They are faster, I can smoke, eat and drink whenever and whatever I want.

Obviously online is better in every way possible. You can eat, poop, urinate, rest, exercise, stretch, etc. But that is just my opinion...

Online are good because more people sign up for them normally so that means bigger payouts.

Online vs Live

Live play is always much better than online to me. I know the money made online may outway Live Tourny's.... But part of the real love of this game is the live interaction, the reading of a player, throwing chips in the middle, shuffling cards, and best of all -
Raking in a big pot !!! This can't be beat. (JMHO)

DAWGFAN !!

I like both, but the one over there is my favorite and each one has its particularity.
The good thing about on LINE is that you have a convenience in your home, you are more comfortable, there is not much pressure. And if you want you can even choose in a balance net.
The live is wonderful, more adrenaline, more tension and not to mention that meeting people is always cool.
In live you can read your opponents and you can use several different ones.
I can't wait to go back to the live tables.

Much much prefer a live game over anything on the intra-net

No one wasting time with a “freeroll” when you meet up with your buddies for a live game or hit the casino for a tourney.

Cash up. No one showin up with $3 in their pocket.

But obv with the Corona Mania taking over, live games are difficult. I live in Surrey BC and recently the RC’s busted a game and handed out a bunch of fines.

RC’s got jokes too. The article referred to “we’re not bluffing when it comes to enforcing public health orders” and “we’ll go all in to ensure the public is following protocols in place”

I miss live poker. Miss it a lot.

From my point of view and my taste is that I prefer live tournaments because all the tension is felt in the players and all those feelings can be exploited
