Online. I can sit in my underwear. Yell at the screen. Walk to the kitchen and make sandwich. Take a quick 5 min shower
Brush my teeth Tidy up my room. Do some weights. Walk around my place and get the mail. It’s amazing how much I can do from home

Live tournaments for me are soooo much more fun than online. I don't know why since I started with online but it's such a thrill to be face to face with your opponent and taking his chips.

I prefer online poker, only cause it is comfortable playing at home. I enjoy drinking as I play poker, the beer fridge is only an arm length away from me. But live you can learn to read your opponents face with live. But only is better for myself and I like it more. Also you can play in it with whatever you feel comfortable in even if it is without a shirt on. That's why I like online better.

I've played poker live a few times. But emotions are more vivid, of course, from playing live. After all, you are holding in your hands not a computer mouse, but real cards and chips. And the emotions and behavior of people are real.
That`s what I love about live poker games. I can read Emotions on people`s faces :D
I`d prefer a live tournament any time over online gaming, but don`t have people to play with and the entrances in casinos for live tournaments are outrageous :)) 100euros for 1 entrance...don`t have that.
Besides, I love to play with the minds of my opponents. Couldn`t make it properly with such High fees even tho I love things Higher than usual :))
May the Gods of Poker and Goddesses of Luck to play by our sides :)
See you at the tables hopefully :)

I am pleased to have played in a live tournament. But unfortunately they are banned. Play with your friends, but it's cache rather than a tournament. You have to play tournaments online.

Online is good if you're looking for smaller stakes and not looking to travel. Casinos are good if you want to do more with reading situations. For me, live is more profitable and our casino has the best Wednesday night tournament with the best value, just lasts a solid 11 hours and starts at 6pm..

If you are not regular, then you only get to play live with friends and most often on a short table.

online more freedom of choice tournaments and rooms
it’s convenient to adjust myself to the schedule of games, I mean the regime of the day since I am a military pensioner and I have enough time for poker
live events, unlike online, nevertheless give some limitations and opportunities for action outside the game[emoji3]

Both have their pros and cons, but money related I would say online is better, everything moves faster so you make more $/hour

I have to prefer online tournaments because I live in Russia and far from the gambling zone. I played offline in Belarus. and these are completely different emotions!

Live poker because that is the full experience. You can see your opponents, try to read their body language, just feel the cards if nothing else. In a proper casino with a good set up, playing poker is an experience.

On line poker is more business like. It cuts down all that slows down or hinders play thus money flow, leaving you with a set of pixels on the screen to figure it out and that 24/7 365. Almost like a stock market broker.

I just started playing online this past weekend and I love certain aspects of it. It's great being able to pick from such a huge variety of games. I'm guessing no casinos offer $1 buy-in tournaments ?? They wouldn't be able to make any profit off of them. The lowest buy-in I've seen for a live tournament is $65. I also love the free online tournament tickets. I managed to turn a free $1 ticket into a $27 cash. I still enjoy playing live, as it seems more "real" to me. I'm not yet completely used to playing online so it still seems like play money to me. Also, I seem to focus better during live play. Bluffs also tend to work better due to the higher buy-ins. I'll continue to do both online and live, especially since I only make it out to the casino a handful of times each year.

What are gambling zones in Russia? Like western Russia + Sochi and so on?

So far I can only say that I like to play online, I have rarely had the opportunity to play live and I have not liked it very much, it will be for the places I've been, nothing to do with the great poker casinos.

I prefer to play online as I'm not very good at dealing with emotions and I'm very easy to read to an opponent.

I had a chance to play in live tournaments, the atmosphere itself is more pleasant than an online game, but you play less hands per hour and if we talk about the distance, I choose an online game. But it feels closer to me a live game!

live tournaments need more time, much more, when poker is not the main job, there’s just not enough time
