right now i'm done for the day, but i had to check my email because of something odd.my fulltilt account was up by $20+ today and i had no clue why.
i recieved an email from FT and a reembursment to my account because of cheaters. this came from FT security.
i logged in to see what i could find out here and there i have my answer, i was "botted" instead of "durred" lmao, hahahahahahahahahahaha.

The full tilt poker Security department has recently concluded an extensive investigation and we have determined that some of your opponents were in violation of our site terms.
We have permanently closed all of the offending accounts. In cases of proven cheating, 100% of the confiscated funds are returned to the players who were victimized. The reimbursement calculation is based on the number of tournaments or hands played against the offending players, and the amount won or lost against them.
We have determined that you are entitled to a refund of $38.36 which will be placed in your account in the next 72 hours.

No refund for me yet. =/ With all the bots at 2nl you'd think I would get some money back I mean damn I've dropped like 200 dollars into 2nl over the past 2 years.......

Actually I have been reading alot there lately and sort of to their credit there is some work involved. Every time a site does and update, they have to go update all of their bots for every site, and they are playing at every site, even the ones not on the list. One poster was excited that 6 of his bot accounts got shut down on tilt, but he still had 3 running. When the admin posted the warning on the 14th telling them not to log in with bots that day (too late) he said they were working on an update to get past that.
I am not sure how extensive it is to maintain a bot, but I should be an expert in a couple weeks, lol
On a side note, I did come across their we now have 5k members celebratory thread, and the admin said that does not mean they have 5k bot users, some users sign up and don't purchase one, so that apparently is not why I cannot register and now I am really aggravated. I cannot even find a way to contact an admin, lol.
I don't know why I really want to get in there, I guess out of curiosity but the fact is my account will probably last less time than it has taken me to figure this out because I know I will post something offensive, lol.

There are a couple of threads on that, I will check them more extensively, I only read a couple posts, one person said they saw no effect but I was more looking for the locked up account threads they were moving/hiding. I will see if I can find them again and maybe link them here.
Alot of them get the jump start bank rolls from deposit bonus and getting them from more than one bot.
It looks like here sort of, there are those botters that are doing the freerolls, ferguson mtt, then those that are playing everything, even Rush.

There were literally thousands. FTP did absolutely nothing to stop them prior. So some ran for the past year. The games became infested. I'm tempted just to move to Stars after this. All the botters seem to praise Stars security.

Great news! I have made FT my most played site recently, and applaud their actions against bots. I only play micros, and never thought there would be so many bots at that level. Hopefully I will get a little refund from FT. Every little bit helps.

I have played the micros 2nl and 5nl FRNLHE at FTP for the last six months and I will be damned if I can tell if there is any bot influence at all. I would like to see what it consists of and what effect it has had on this game. The article sited says that it was primarily used in heads up games and made no mention of full ring. Is there any way they can be spotted by the average player. Weird betting patterns or just the opposite? I am clueless, so I would like to know more about what happened or is happening now.

From what I heard you should check their PTR, huge number of hands played with little return, those are probably just bots making money on rakeback.
