^^^^Only 1 or 2 people have said that. They probably signed up through an affiliate that is no longer in business or collecting funds - something along those lines. Or it could have been a personal referral who only received a 1 time payment.

There is absolutely no way FT is going to pay full affiliate fees and rakeback on one account and frankly I don't blame them. So though I am one of those who will never get rakeback I totally understand why.

Yeah, finding the ones I read, especially on the other forum would be a nightmare. And what Dakota said is probably true for those as well. I'm overly confused about this whole subject. And fwiw, I think it sucks because I enjoy FT more than any other site. But now that I've learned the difference between r/b and no r/b, I'm not going to be putting my money on FT. If I win some there through freerolls, great! But I'll take my personal money elsewhere that gives me a greater chance at making some money.

Personally, I know it's my mistake for not knowing about r/b. But I think it will end up being a bigger mistake for the larger poker clients not telling their potential customers about r/b before they signed up. Not that I generate a lot of money for them, but a couple of thousand of myselfs do.

Because you may well have visited an affiliate site, you just weren't aware of it.

Some of these affiliates are sneaky they just need to get a cookie on your machine and then they get paid for the rest of your poker playing days! There is money to be made by duping people in this way.

I'm not sure you understand what cookies are or how they work. Course I have been wrong before.

I've had the same problem too. I've bugged the hell out of them. I love the site and have played there forever, but obviously signed up through an non-rb affiliate and I have no idea who it was.

Here's what you do. If you live with someone, have them create an account with rakeback, give FullTilt a headsup that you will both be playing from the same computer. And then whenever you want to withdraw funds, just transfer it over to your pokerstars account. Ta-da.

she got it straight away, played 112 hands and got rb of $1.02.
Ive played 18000 hands in 4 months and have rakeback of.....$0.
Real nice of FT to look after their players.

In other news, I just played 173 hands, and got 2 pocket pairs, 4's and 8's, both lost. No other pocket pairs.
What the f**k have I done to FT for them to turn my doomswitch on???

I finally got an email from RBP saying they've flipped the switch. It's the same form email everyone else gets. I haven't quit playing on FT, but had cut back from multi tabling to mostly just playing a few HUSNGs. Honestly, I don't think anything I did or didn't do got me RB. The whole thing is still a mystery to me. I am glad they gave me a reason to stay.

I am tired of writing the emails to FTP support, I don't think it will ever work.
So I'm going to leave the room. That's it.

There is one way that an affiliate signup can get rakeback -- affiliate links dissolve if you don't make a real money deposit within 60 days of signup.

Back when I first started online and knew nothing of rakeback, I signed up to FT through a freeroll site affiliate link. My bankroll was divided between PS and SportsBook/Cake at the time and I didn't want to deposit at FT since I didn't care for them at first. Probably a year or so later, FT won me over and I finally deposited, and have been playing there almost exclusively ever since.

A month or so ago, assuming it was impossible but trying anyway, I sent FT an email asking about the possibility of rakeback and admitting outright that I signed up through an affiliate link. I asked if there was any way to cancel my affiliation after so much time, or to create another account, anything to get rakeback. I didn't threaten but did say I was being attracted by lucrative rakeback offers from other US friendly sites (bodog, Carbon, etc).

They responded within 24 hours saying that I did *not* have an affiliate account, and explained that I must not have deposited within 60 days and that's why the affiliation was canceled. They said they were forwarding my account detail to RBP and they would be in touch. A day or so later RBP emailed and said I was eligible. I created my RBP account then and have been receiving RB ever since.

No idea why it's easy for some and not others. I'm not a huge baller or anything. I do multi-table 50NL and a little 100NL, and have made Silver IronMan a couple of times, but it still only amounted to 10k hands a month during a busy month.

I already had an account at FTP when I read someones advice on how to get rakeback on existing accounts.
It was quite easy to say so, I kinda demanded it.

"Hello, I just recently became aware of the rakeback option for full tilt poker from Rakebackpros.
I'd like to have the rakeback enabled in my account ******.
This is really important for me in order to continue playing poker here.
Thanks in advance."

I think it took like 4-5 days to get this response:

Congratulations!

You are now a RakeBackPros player and you will receive 27% rakeback on all your future play at Full Tilt Poker!

We pay you rakeback directly into your Full Tilt Poker account every Friday. The rakeback payment you receive will account for the rakeback you have accumulated from Tuesday through Monday from the previous week.

Your first rakeback payment is scheduled for Friday, February 12th and Full Tilt will send you an email confirming that the transaction has been made to your player account.

Please note that it may take up to 48 hours after your account is set up for rakeback before your statistics are updated. After the initial update is displayed on the website, your stats will be updated on daily.

Enjoy your rakeback and good luck at the tables!

Maybe I was lucky, or not.

Finally !!!! Wooohoooo !!!

Hello RBP - support team !

As you can see it's been quite a while now (almost a year now) since I signed up at RBP.

Sadly nothing has happened regarding rakeback yet....not that I want to sound inpatient but I don't need any automated mails telling me to wait anymore.

Maybe you just don't want me ?

Really sad

Stefan (King Karow = FT nick)

Why had you been denied in the past? Were you attached to an affiliate? If so, do you know who? Anyways, congrats.

I wasn't tied to an affiliate but downloaded directly from the FT site.

I was told multiple times that I'd have to wait because I signed up directly and RBP didn't have enough places to offer, yet.

I guess persistence is the key since I bothered them on a monthly basis.

Im in the same boat as many people here. Played at FT b4 RB was introdeuced, want RB, e-mailed around and been denied.
Feel bit shocked/pissed off the way FT treat there long time users. I was upset to be denied multiple times of RB that I cashed out my FT BR and decided to go back onto stars.
But reading a few of these posts mayb I should jus keep on pestering RBP on a monthly mission to see if I can ever get RB at FT.

But then again im not even arsed with FT atm. Im enjoying my run at PS.

If I keep on gettin rejected from RBP + FT then I guess i'll jus go play somewhere else that offers RB like UB or NOIQ.

I logged on to FT today and started adding tables. Around the third one or so I noticed my available BR was...what I thought my whole BR was.

Oh, right, I meant to check on RB!

Just a bit over $10 in RB. Woo hoo!

I'm posting because even though I got the "You're in" letter, I've felt like I'll believe it when I see it. Wanted to let you all know it's real.
