I like to read-up on reviews before I join any pokersite. But will never 100% trust any site that's online.

hey everyone. so i know this is an old thread but i scan threw cardschat and read intresting threads. i play on ignition, acr, intertops, and betonline. i absolutely trusty ignition and betonline, i sometimes questions intertops and acr but i have absolutely nothing to back that up. i do beleive that all these sites for the most part, the bigger ones especially are all limited on the things they cannot do and i beleive they are all getting watched by the big wigs if you will. someone above stated that if you think your getting cheated then why play there? you can post your hands like he said and im sure there are a few people on here that can point out a few mistakes that you made and that could be the reason why your thinking your getting cheated. regardless though i hope you figure out a good place that you can trust to enjoy your poker experience

Little update for those who are interested:

Played a low buy in tourney today at unibet to gather more 'evidence'.

Once again the following unfolded when I was leading the tourney with 9 players left:

Got dealt AKs on the BB. SB shoves with 15bb.

I call. He shows A of spade with 9 of hearts.

Board: J82 with 2 diamonds. My AK are suited diamonds. He needs to hit the 9 of clubs or 9 of spades and avoid any K or diamonds to win.

Turn 2c. River 9 of hearts.

VERY NEXT hand I get dealt AA in SB. Button shoves with 30bb. i reshove and BB folds.

Button shows KK.

Board: 104K25.

VERY NEXT HAND: I get dealt 1010 from button.

I shove and BB calls with A9.

Board runs out: 778KA.

I'm a out once again in such fashion by successive beats.

By such fashion I mean (and I CAN support by screenshots) that I have left a tourney once again in the latter stages by losing hands ONE AFTER another by 2 or 3 outers. Looking back since I started making screenshots (Unibet doesnt provide HH) this has now been the 14th (yes the 14th, NO kidding) tournament in succession that I have busted out by consecutive 3 or 2 outers or worse.

I have complained at Unibet support and send the screens over, however they hold on to their RNG being 100% random.

Am I too paranoid still? Suffering just a 'bad run'?
However, no HH available, beats following one after another exrtemely prolonged...
Can we conclude that 'things' are definitely way 'off' and we can we safely call Unibet 'rigged'?

(Sorry for my English)

I have(stas) evidence, that I'm put on a loose list on ipoker. I play same in many rooms, and the stas don't lie. Isn't it? I'm pretty more convinced they let new players win or they set up new players to beat me, what would be worse. I take my notes and everything, but since I have won as a freeplayer without depositing, I cannot win anymore. Worst thing, they are kidding me. I play JJ, first card on the flop is a queen, and Q4o beats me, for example. I'm not paranoic, I've been playing for years in that room. Every new guy wins!!! Beginners luck? Luck doesn't exist, only variance, isn't it?
The point is, I assume they are doing field cleaning, first they let you win, but... u don't pay, you're not worth it. Whenever I play, some new guys show up with ALWAYS numbers at the end of their name. And they insist threatening me, they go out with my big hands, the beat me in nearly all of my monsterhands just by whatever they need :(((
Has somebody experienced smth. similar in their rooms?:jd4::):(

You are 100% right.

People refuse to accept the fact that poker rooms are rigged.
People who think that online poker is honest are those who belive in god, Santa Clause, second life and so on... They have no facts that prove that online poker is legit and no facts that prove that it's rigged, what they really have is their faith in their own virtual reality.

What do we know about online poker rooms?
It's a program.
What do we know about programs?
Humans write them.
What do we know about humans?
Humans lie.
What do we know about casinos?
Casino is a "fair" method of pulling the money out of your pocket into casino owners pocket.
What do we know about online poker structure?
It has obvious VIP levels for the players.
Question: WHy It can't have hidden VIP levels for the players?
Player 1 is a reg, he is growing his bankroll and cashes out once a year 30% of his bankroll, which is more money than he generated in rake.
Player 2 is a occasional player who cashes out all of his winnings when he wins.

Who more likely will win the big pot if they will go all-in preflop?

In my 10year experience with online poker I saw the same thing many many times... it's more obvious for small poker rooms. Last time at iPoker, I cashed out and had 30tickets lifet in my account and 50Euro bankroll, 30tickets 1-2-5euro. Spent bankroll to play 50cent-1Eur tourneys together with tickets. In result I won under 10Euro with like 80 attempts to win in MTTs. before the cashout I had platinum status and generated rake like a machine at NL10 tables and MTTs... what are my relations with iPoker network? I've deposited 10Euro several years ago to let them know my card number where I want to withdraw money to, it was several hundreds... Left 1 hundred to play with... had 0 winnings. Started all over again from freerolls... In overall I've deposited to the room 4 times 10euro each year, cause they require it to update card details... Generated approx 1.5K euro in rake and cashed out several K Euro, my last cashout was bigger than all rake that I've generated... It was in April... Do I win anything since April? ZERO. Yesterday again my AA loses to TT on a preflop all-in during bubble time.

The more obvious story with 888, but have to type a book about it. Opponent has 1 out? That's enough for him to win against me, cause my relations with casino is like i'm robbing it.
Something simmilar with pokerstars.
Recently won some money at sportsbetting, played SNG, played lots of cash games, and won some money in MTT... Decided to cash out $100 out of $150 to have some more bitcoins, in result AA started to lose against AQ, people who go all-in with J9 win vs my KK and so on, $50 bankroll dissapeared.
Am I the lonely bird with such whistles? Well I have approx 30 real life friends who play online poker and we play live poker at the club... we have our jokes about post-cashout period of online gambling...
My older brother won approx 50K at PS since 2011 till 2016. He won 10K for the first place in 1$ rebuy and 11K for the first place in 10$ rebuy plus had many finals. He haven't cashed out till the end of 2016, he owned a restaurant during this time where we've been playing poker and many players joined pokerstars because of him, he also was sending money to each one of them in exchange for cash... He was a winning player during this time, but after the cashout it all has stopped.
One of the players invited to PS by my brother started playing HU SNGs, he managed to climb up to 1K HU SnGs starting with $100 bankroll, 2 years of rake generating, Supernova... he bought all sht from PS store, hoodies-shmoodies, hats-rats, backpacks-frontpacks... everything except for Porsche. Then one day he decided to leave his parents and buy an appartment, he makes a cashout and leaves a smaller bankroll to continue playing at lower limits. 28 HU losses in a row. 28 SNGs one by one and all lost.
This is obvious decision to play more tightly after the cashout, cause you need to restore the bankroll and move up to the higher limits, when you're doing this and see that you've waited whole hour for that AA, you're calling someones all-in and see that you're against A7os, you're happy about it, but at the river his 7 is making a flush... WHAT? Ok, Ok, it happened once, but what if it happens all the time during several months? You can't even win a freeroll... What if you start playing in a new poker room at the same time? You see a different picture. Everything goes smooth, just like the doctor said.

Is online poker rigged? Nobody knows the exact answer, but we have our stories to tell. If 30 people are having the same problem, if thousands see the same sht, maybe we can call it a knowledge based on statistics? Maybe PokerStars and other poker room owners aren't greedy and it's enough for them to have the rake, maybe they also have hidden vip levels for players, or bots, or secret combinations of keys for special players... I don't know for sure, nobody knows for sure. Nobody knows if they're legit or rigged. You can "spit in the face" if anyone tells you that it's rigged and you can also "spit in the face" if anyone tells you that it's 100% legit. Nobody knows the truth, but once again - we have our own personal experience.

Being realistic I can only compare it with a saying: "Faith in God is like having a d1ck. I'm glad that You have one. It's good that You know how to use it. But please don't show it to my kids..."
So rigged or not - please don't say the BS, my kids and my ears don't like it. It's obvious that people have a choice to quit playing poker or keep playing nomatter what. It's obvious that you can make your life less depending on poker if you're generating a stable income and play poker during your extra time... And ofc it's obvious that you'll be screaming loud after any bad beat if you're thinking(hoping) that online poker will solve your problem. Your problem is not online poker, your problem is inside your head. When You'll solve it, there won't be a problem with poker, wife, money, life... Just ask yourself - what do you want, what do you really like to do and how to use it for your own good and for the society, you can obviously see that poker isn't doing anything good for the society, the only thing online poker creates is the profit for few people and possibility to earn money for the horde. Don't rely on the possibility, do the sure thing first and leave your hopes, prays and online poker for sundays or for your free minutes. during the day... or become a casino worker and start generating atleast $100 in rake per day so you'll be able to withdraw $3K at the end of each month without being "black listed" or how else do they name such periods? :hmmmm2:

if i didnt trust my poker room, why would i deposit any money there?

Your deposit is a purchase of service that you need.
Your poker room provides a service without proven fact that service is 100% legit.

It's like
1) You're buying a sugar free Coca Cola and the label says that it's sugar free, you think that it's healthy, but it has aspartan, which is a replacement for sugar and is more dangerous for the health... You keep drinking diet cola and keep gaining weight. You've trusted Coca-Cola and they didn't lie, cause there was no sugar... You had an option to make chemistry survey and find out what's inside, but you preferred to trust the company.

2) You're giving money to homeless human at the street, hoping that this way he will start a new life. You're buying a service this way. You're purchasing a feeling that you've done a good thing for another human. In reality that homeles person most probably will purchase alcohol or drugs using your money and will only do damage to himself instead of doing something good like you believed.

Subjective thinking and objective thinking are 2 different things. Subjectively you're buying chips in online poker to spend some time playing poker. Objectively you're watching pixels on your screen, these pixels represent poker and cards, and in reality you've bought a serotonin increasement in your blood with a virtual idea of virtual poker in your mind.

In reality most of the people trust fake things and simply don't want to pay attention to what's real and what's not... StarWars fan will spend $1000 extra for some useless trash that has Dart Vader on it.. Apple fan will spend $1000 for the phone that differs from previous by 1-5%. Instead of investing money into real and profitable things people trust some providers of virtual worlds and accept the reality that they've bought as something real and important...

Here's a joke :

- Hey grandpa, our neighbor is a construction worker, he built houses for the people and built two for himself, he is giving flats in rent for students and thats how he bought a Tesla to his grandkid, can you buy me a Tesla too?
- SOrry kid, I only have that Star Wars statue and my biggest achievement was Royal Flush at that 1$ bounty tourney in year 2018... :puke:

if you play in a place that is dubiously trustworthy I think it's your fault, there are many legally proven places to play, and there are also the biggest ones ... so if someone feels that they are playing in a place that is fraudulent, the fault is it's from that person

I have played in some local sites that are very small(about 400 players daily play there) and you wouldnt belive what Is happening there.
In cash game everytime you see flop with 2 other players, one of them has a two pair, other a set and I am a top par with a good kicker or i have a draw to nuts.
Increidble i played for a 3 weeks and never again.
I since then play on PS i and I think they are pretty good

He can also hit a running `T`& `9`

Your evidence (what you call evidence) shows us that you are a rookie with no understanding of variance.

I would suggest learning how to play the game (it can be quite rewarding)... but I am thinking the problems run a tad deeper than lack of skill or knowledge.

Why don`t you post in the Hand History analysis sections.... you might benefit yourself & maybe even others.

Why is it that the hundreds of HSMTT online regs. never suggest that the sites are rigged (& the thousands of other winning players).

Have you considered that your friends might be bad players too (I mean how would you even know... if you were or are a bad player as well)

My 57 friends all believe online poker is legit. 56 of them do not believe in Santa. 52 of them have a minimum of 2,000,00 hands in their databases and 31 of them got together and pooled databases, comparing results finding nothing that deviated from expectation. (5 of them have over 3,000,000 hands). All 57 of my friends are winning players. They laugh at the rigtards but they laugh at me too... for wasting the 2mins. it took to write this post.

I used to be reg, my poker experience in 2008 has started with free $50 bankroll that I've got from pokerstrategy, In the first month I've cashed out $800 and it was half of my bankroll... 10 years and 12 poker rooms. 12 cash tables at 2 screens. One of my friends was supernova playing HU sngs, started from $10, continued to $1000 buy-in. Other one has +50K MTT record at PS and he started with freerolls. Not all of them are wining players. What I know for sure is that there is a connection between generated rake and winings. But that's my subjective opinion. Well it doesn't matter if it's supported by many friends or not.
What matters?
Do me, you or mine or your friends have objective information that points to the fact that online poker is not rigged? Do WE have some fact that can 100% say that it's rigged? I believe that you, me and our friends, haven't visisted the server room of any poker site, haven't talked to any of the main programmers who developed it, and haven't heard the truth told by the casino owner. This is obvious that they will say that everything is legit. Another obvious thing is that humans lie sometimes, if they have interest in what they're saying. Online casino is a program and this program was created by humans. Since we have no obvious facts about the software, except the fact that it's designed to generate profit for some humans, and the fact that most often nobody has access to the software to control it, since moment when it was developed and noboy can control each of it's updates, in such case we can't say exactly if the software is rigged or not, cause we have no facts. What we do know is that online poker isn't producing any useful product for the human race in general and for the majority of players. From such point of view online poker is a rigged tool that can be compared to weapon of mass desctruction, cause daily tourneys during a year, consume so many human-hours without any obvious good result, that we can compare it with a bomb which totally erased many 100yr.long human lifes, and 100 years is 876.000 hours. You can do the math and calculate how much human hours consumes just single daily 1$ 1K grtd tournament during 1 year...

Now if we'll think of the regs... in my opinion, regs in online poker are the same casino workers in real life casino... they're just dealers without a contract and consant salary. Their salary depends on number of hands played and level of stupidity. The smarter and tighter the reg, the bigger his salary is by the end of the week or month.

My conclusion is that online poker is rigged for sure from specific point of view. I can't say for sure if the software is rigged, maybe yes, maybe no. I can't say it because I have no facts. Those who say that it's rigged without facts and those who say that it's not rigged without facts have a special place in my objective thinking head. What I can say is that many players have simmilar experience based on sequence of actions that they did. It reminds me a some sort of VIP system that is hidden from users and available for admins. Do you know what admins do there? What privledge settings user accounts have? Admin accounts? Super-admins? Owners account? I think that we have no idea, majority of people don't even have such thoughts. I think that we all believe in what we want to believe. But I do know for sure, that few people at this forum can change the design, edit old posts, and set priveledge levels for the users. What's the difference between this forum and poker room?

He can also hit a running `T`& `9`

Your evidence (what you call evidence) shows us that you are a rookie with no understanding of variance.

I would suggest learning how to play the game (it can be quite rewarding)... but I am thinking the problems run a tad deeper than lack of skill or knowledge.

Why don`t you post in the Hand History analysis sections.... you might benefit yourself & maybe even others.

First of all. Unibet doesn't provide hand history.

Second, I have made a few bucks so far playing live for 15 years now. You don't have to advice me to gain better understanding of the game. But thank you anyway.

Third, busting to such degree of beats one after another tournament after tournament week after week day in day out... You are telling me that I am just ad the bad end of variance...? :) Surely the donks aren't being baby sitted right? ;)

You're a believer. That I admire :)

TLDR

If you spent 1/10th of the time you spend on this drivel on studying poker, you might change your beliefs.

My thoughts... you're a donk who doesn't even know it. You win a bit at the soft local casino & think you should win online too.
Also, online poker 10yrs. ago vs. today is apples to oranges. There were many winning regs. prior to BlackFriday who've tried to make a go of it more recently without success (I've seen many $100-$215 avg bi regs. who are now playing <$10 avg. bi.).

I don't know much about computer programming and won't profess to either. I know a bit about poker though... enough to know when other's don't but say they do.

BUT I did read through DMorris's posts (& a few others) on the 'Rigtard' thread on CC (from maybe 5yrs. ago?... maybe 5 to 7 yrs.). He provides a lot of info. there I think you'd be interested in

Never to return to online poker again. You are being f*cked before your own eyes. Off course BTW.

Little update for those who are interested:

Played a low buy in tourney today

LOL

Never to return again...... Okay.. see you tomorrow! :) $ $ $ $

Question for ya (& was asked by another poster above)... IF it's rigged or you're being cheated, etc.etc. Why would you EVER play again? (I believe the example above was.. If I told you the car I'm selling you is a piece of crap, why would you buy it?)

Question for you:

Have you ever returned to something you promised yourself never to return to? You must be perfect! ;)

I have returned! That's right :) to collect more samples of the rigged hands i get involved in over and over. That's why.

However i cannot login anymore at unibet as of yesterday. Account is locked and NO i did not self exclude. I sent them an email but no response so far.

So yeah, now online poker is done for me :)

Tonight going to my hometown casino again for the real work ;)

Pokerstars:

- No phone number
- Ignores e-mails
- Involved in multiple (money laundering, ponzi scheme) scandals
- CEO accused and found guilty of insider trading, is officially fugitive still
- So they are criminals
- Continuous suckouts (especially after winning some buck) noticeable way more frequent than on PartyPoker or others
- Favors streamers/affiliates
- Freezing of accounts and holding funds without legal reason

Need I type more?

My experience with PartyPoker is way way better. Fact that they feature live chat and even superiour phone support says a whole lot to me to start with.
And yes, the RNG feels indeed normal to me at PP.

I use online poker sites rather for fun, so it is not so important for me. I deposit only few dollars to play with. But I do trust PS and PP

Not trust. Because I understand that the poker room is aimed at making profits and players.
