I don't think I fully understand the topic, but when it comes to bots, I have a suspicion that pokerstars games like "Tempest" or whatever else they are giving away in their chests as ticket prizes. If you join such a game - you immediately have opponents. No matter when it might be - the middle of the night or early in the morning - there are always opponents immediately. I think these are bots from PS website ;)

I have always suspected the poker sites themselves are running bots. But I have no proof.

While I could certainly go all "conspiracy theory" here, that's not what I'm trying to imply... basically, my idea is that if sites are running their own bots, it would be no different than a live brick-and-mortar casino using "prop players", which for those not aware, these are players who are paid an hourly wage by the casino to show up and play poker on a specific schedule. Prop players use their own bankroll, and they play their own game of poker. But the casino chooses to pay prop players for the reason that these props help to fill the tables up at slower times of the day (such as in the mornings)... and a full casino is a happy casino. :D Poker players don't like to walk in and see an empty poker room, they want to see a full poker room with lots of action. Most players would never even realize if someone is a prop player or not, they are not identifiable and they don't have to tell other players they're a prop. There's nothing nefarious going on with prop players in a casino, and to wrap up my analogy, this is my own personal feeling that if an online poker site is running their own bots, they're used in the same way as props. Of course I realize a bot can play "perfect" poker (depending on how well the bot's programming is), but let's not get into the conspiracy theory angle. hahaha
If poker sites bots are used as like prop players, i think there's no problem there even if it plays perfect poker, as long as that bot doesn't know what cards are coming out.
You just cant help but think how a player would call your big raise or he himself would go all in with garbage cards, and hits a straight or a flush or a trips on the river.
Happened to me all the time..... But i still play online poker... [emoji23] [emoji23] [emoji23]

I do not believe that it exists, it is more a myth than a reality, at least nobody has a concrete proof, they are simply speculations.

Poker Bots

Yes poker bots do exist, i already saw a video on youtube about the ACR bots cought scamming and therefore decided not to play at ACR... Or as another alternative you can play in poker tourneys, you won't find a bot there.

It will always be a topic that can never be 100% clarified. But I very much assume that the big well-known poker sites do not use this or even allow it because something does more harm than it does good. On the other hand, it doesn't matter if there is something like bots because a person can always be better than a bot because the decisions a person makes are not preprogrammed as they are with a bot. There is a completely different situation if the cards can be determined beforehand and this information is sent to the opponent, be it a real person or a bot, but then that would be a real fraud and this then has legal consequences. I also know that there are always people who try something like that, but on the state-certified sites it should not be possible for them to play there

Are there bots in poker online apps?

I'd like to know if there are bots in poker Apps, sometimes the way the bankroll flows out is alarming. Are these real players or is a computer just taking all my $$??

Every poker site has bots. This is 100%. The owners of these sites are earning billions of dollars. The only option is to create your own table to exclude bots from the game.

Poker is casino-like. And as you know, casinos never win a lot. There are 100% bots in any room!:jd4::):jd4:

Don't want to give tips, as i pretty much hate it, but if you are so naive (pardon for honesty), instead of start an other thread about it, just type in any search engine: 'poker bot price'.

Funny, that is still some questionable thing, next to that not allowed, i am not sure but i think, it's even criminal, definitely not ethical, and even the 'we are for you, care for you, protect the rights, privacy' etc. tech giants support the spread, availability of them - even advertise them -, because they are after the money, control, power only......

Some run the bots automatically, some sit next to that because of security reasons, they can get caught later, if they sit next to that. The better poker rooms acknowledge this problem, the worse ones not. The company, room run ones are a huge question, it is possible, for obvious reasons it never will be proven in any direction....

Yes Ceo Phil Nagy goes as far as saying bots can read pixel on screen.
Why would he openly say the bots can see your cards thru window.
Seems like he may be telling on his teams.

Wat? Like wat is this thread? Wat are you all talking about?

First of all bots have nothing to do with poker rooms. Bot is just a program that plays poker for you on your computer, make mouse clicks and stuff. I am a developer and yes programs can read pixels from screen. That has nothing to do with other peoples cards. Programs can see what you see on screen thats it. In order to actually see other peoples cards you would have to hack the poker room server and dig very very deep into its core, cause its not like they store those hands in some database you know. Its a dynamic stuff. You gota catch it somwhere in the flow of the data.

Second, when you taling about 'They see my cards' or 'I am losing so fast wtf' you not really talking about bots, you talking about superusers. Those are completely different things. Its important to note, cause every time you see a term Poker Bot you would think one, and its totally different. I think in modern poker world there is probably almost zero concern about superusers. Look, how much money do you think a poker room can make by just taking players money with superusers? Don't you think sooner or later this would become obvious that players are losing suspeciously? If they build some healthy environment for people to trust a room and play there they can make much much more money. Trust is everything.

I don't think there are any bots on popular sites like PokerStars, GGPoker... but I'm not sure about small or unpopular sites.

Do you really believe this question to get an answer with evidence here? If that were the case, then poker applications would have been blocked long ago.

My answer to your first question is: maybe. Surely such programs already exist, the fact that you encountered such a program can not be proven! It also depends on the poker room how many sticks there are! Unfortunately, sticks are a growing threat!

There are almost certainly bots on almost every site. The sites with better policing will probably have less, but will still have some. There is nothing you can really do about this other than maybe staying away from shady sites if possible and table selecting well.

I bet there are as many "bots" in online poker rooms than there are quills on a porcupine or hairs on a bear!

Probably on most sites! Also you are playing against multitablers and players with programs that predict your actions and gives them their best options.

I think this must be the biggest problem faced by websites nowadays, as online security only works 100% until someone discovers its flaw. The sites smother the cases and use the strictest possible solutions to avoid these cases, but when it comes to money, I think I have more bots than many imagine

Judging by the news, so far the bots are only 1 on 1, because so far there is not enough power of computers to analyze the hands 9 on 9.:deal:

There are probably cases with bots at cash tables. Somehow I read on the Internet how it fights with bots and how many bots are banned in pokerstars.
