lol would be a fun contest, who's "free" buffet cost them the most in buy insI was considering getting the Buffet of Buffets one of the days that I'm there. I'm staying at The Linq that week.
This one is my go too a lot, last two times I've been in Vegas I have not adjusted well to the time change, so that means I'm up at 2 or 3 instead of being up lateLooking around for late night eats. Some of these places look interesting.

Last time I was there, I thought I would be going to bed early too... Then the day I flew in, I was up til 2am playing poker at The Golden Nugget. Went heads up with a dude for 30 minutes until we decided to chop. This one is my go too a lot, last two times I've been in Vegas I have not adjusted well to the time change, so that means I'm up at 2 or 3 instead of being up late
They have a really good late night/ early morning menu. Plus it's easy to get to if you're on the strip.

How late does the Colossus play to on Day 1, just in case some people make it to Day 2? I'm assuming 10 or 11pm.

Sounds good to me. And I'm only firing one bullet at The Colossus. If I'm out after Day 1, I'll be playing in a couple of Phamous Goliath events the next day.I will definitely not be going to eat that late. [emoji14]
The 75 minute dinner break is at 4:40pm so that is when we should all meet up. Unfortunately it will be quite difficult to find a table for a bunch of people at that time since everyone else will be on break too - but if we do it any other time there will be others still playing.
Zero chance I will eat at 10pm or later though - if still in I will have already eaten at 4:40 - if out would not wait that long - I never eat that late lol.
If I bust I plan on re-entering the following day so it will be early to bed for me.
I'd be down for that maybe on the 27th or something. I was planning on playing cash while day 1b was going on anywayWhat we all need to do is go to planet hollywood and grind out cash games for 3 hours ( I think, it might be 4) and all go to the spice market buffet for free afterwards. I still have 3 vouchers for the paris buffet from my last trip (those are earned at Ballys)

We can meet at the Sportsbook bar and grille or whatever it's called at the Rio during colossus dinner break. Its first come first serve seating. The place by the Asian restaurant, sportsbar and Sportsbook had several tables last year.
Lol the 3 Paris buffet vouchers I have were definite wins, when I played at Planet Hollywood, some guy had my number and that spice market buffet cost me a couple of buy ins Still Planet Hollywood poker room is where all the action is at 3 or 4 in the morning on the strip. I love the dealers and poker room manager there too. But then the last couple of trips I'm a big fan of Flamingos and Ballys poker room staff too. They have some nice freerolls if you get in a certain amount of hours in a week at a couple of them too. I qualified for Flamingos last visit there. The last time I tried to get a comp for a meal, that $15 breakfast cost me $250 US. I seem to have better luck at the tables when I pay for meals...even the $65 for two at Jardin in the Wynn is cheaper than my losses...but this trip, I may try something totally different...maybe I shall WIN for a change (LOL)!!!
Thanks for the new jacket Debi!

OK, the CardsChat logo bar sticky seems like it will stay on my bucket hat nicely (knock on wood, never know about adhesives wearing off with time). My question today is, Will I wear the hat so the logo faces backward to those behind me, or so the logo faces the pot? Or it doesn't matter? Send me three more and I'll have a logo facing all four major directions … Good luck CCers!
It's the Sports Deli and they have sandwiches, burgers, pizza, etc. If we are able to set it up, perhaps anyone not playing, either busted or playing another day, could grab a couple tables a few minutes before the dinner break.
Getting close!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That is my favorite place to eat at the Rio.
Who else is getting super excited?????
I have a huge case of the FOMOs...except that it's actually RMOs (Really Missing Out). Y'all take lots of pics and tweet to us @CardsChat!
I am going to be making a list in Twitter of everyone playing that we can subscribe to if you want to follow along with everyone in Twitter.
