I was going to try and satty into the $1500 bounty tourney on June 24 too.. But I don't think I'll be getting into LV early enough for that. Will have to play 1 or 2 of the smaller daily tournaments they have on the 24th and 25th instead.

I have been trying to win Cardschat gear for ages...I even think I made a posting that I would kill to get a hoodie. Who knew it was so easy to get Cardshat gear? Just spend about $700 Cdn for airfare, $800US for entries (I assume I shall need two shots at this) and about $700US for room at the Rio.

Eat well and get good rest!
Play your game! Watch the table and mental tag players actions. Even when you are not in the hand you need to pay attention to what is going on. Put down the phone or anything else that will distract you. Use your card protector at all times!! Position, position and position. Good luck and rip it up!

Just booked my flight to Las Vegas June 25. I will DEFINITELY play the second Day One (Thursday) of Colossus; paying up via Bravo this weekend. Once that is done I will post the five steps to complete my joining the CC Team. Please include shamanalix (Bruce Williams) in the Pending. Good luck all, and hope to put faces and real-life personalities to some familiar names/opponents!

OK. Registered and paid for EV#061 $400 The Colossus B 10am Thursday. Let's see about the five "musts":

3) definitely wear T-shirt, sweatshirt nice cuz it gets cold in there!, not a hoodie type but if you give me one … Prefer bucket hat aka fisherman's hat to ballcap, hides head better, can we get some of those made with the CC logo? Don't have any CC gear or trinkets, will arrive in Las Vegas Tuesday and can arrange to pick stuff up that day, Wednesday, or before play begins Thursday. Plan to go by Rio Tuesday late night to get table assignment, or Wednesday morning early.
4) Already following CC on Twitter; someone will have to help me with that picture in gear and how to post from my Droid.
5) Ditto above as I learn how to snap and post. Look forward to CC card protector, lost my old Aces Cracked forum one finally last summer.
More about me? That's shamanalix with a small "s" in all things CC and most sites; only pokerstars stuck me with a capital S. Been playing poker since Moneymaker Days, mostly on line. TV hooked me. Playing has dropped as online choices have dwindled and enthusiasm waned. Played WSOP live last 2 summers, Crazy Eights twice and I forget the other event 2 summers ago. Three summers ago finished 4th in Green Bounty tournament during Nugget Series (took 5 bounties); that December was runner-up in Poker Bloggers annual tournament, at Aria. Play's gone south since. Run hot and cold, like most players. Motivation a major hangup. Still have photos from Lederers Charity Tournament in July 2010, one of my most fun outings; Andy Bloch (sitting next to me) even bought me back in after knocking me out with a river two-outer (Sham Luck works live, too … unfortunately). Played two events in March during Heartland Poker Tour visit to Hollywood Casino here in Maryland Heights, MO.

I am planning on playing in the collossus this year and would love to be a member of team cardchat.
I will be playing in flight A and my name is Jacob Staples and my Twitter is @jacobstaples2. I know super original lol.
I have played poker for around 10 years and have done well in games under the 1000 dollar level, albeit with under 300 runners. I also have done well at the 2-5 level of cash at my local casinos ( seabrook cardroom, one Lafayette cardroom both in New Hampshire, as well as foxwoods).
I've never been to Vegas and this will be my first wsop event.
