I'm approaching retirement and I'm looking for a new hobby. So started from zero couple weeks ago in learning pokerskills. I'm curious if it's still possible to learn the game.
Any comments ?

There is no age to start playing poker and learn strategy and game methodologies, at least that you suffer from some mental illness that prevents you from working in the middle. I hope this is not your case jejejejeje

I think poker can be learned at any age, now it depends on whether you have the patience or will like it.

I am almost 50 and learn more and more everyday. It is actually recommended that the older you get, the more you try and learn new things. It keeps certain synapsis in your brain firing and thus keeps your mind sharp and your brain functioning well. So, besides poker, everyone try to learn something new as often as possible, especially they older you get.

I am 40 years old and I am just taking serious poker 3 years ago. It depends on you.
Remember The brain is the only muscle who does not get older if you train it everyday .

If You like to play in Poker, first of all, for the beginning simply more play, but without
bringing deposit, that to think only about quality game, but not think about money, that more
quickly to feel puls of game. Further, when You understand what type of Poker closer You,
study as more :icon_stud this type, further check receving knowledge on practise, and only when feel
confident in your forces, can try to play on the money, but start to play on the money only
with most low limits, and You need to play only by bankroll, because bankroll management,

You can do whatever you want to do in your life. Ages are not barrier for anything.
