Of course you can! I think you might have a leg up on some of the youngsters because you're wise and you have some life experience and discipline. Don't be discouraged if there is a bit of a learning curb. Study up and put in hours. I'm sure you'll be stackin' fools in no time ;)

You can learn poker at any age. In fact, if you are going to play poker, you should be learning at every age.

not everyone is given, but if you have no problems with logic, mathematics, discipline, then why not ... and most importantly, this desire to learn.

Of course yes! With dedication and study in three months you prune to be playing for a very good level of freeroll and micro-stakes game!

Regards!

I personally think that anyone can play poker at any age. never to late to start learning, never to early to start playing.

Poker isgood for holder people! It's a strategy and lucky game. I play since 10 years and I continue to learn when I play. I enjoyed to play with my family. I like to share my passion with older people like grandpa, grandma. And also share good moment with my lovely family.

I'm approaching retirement and I'm looking for a new hobby. So started from zero couple weeks ago in learning pokerskills. I'm curious if it's still possible to learn the game.
Any comments ?
If you are not a stupid person, then it is never too late to learn poker, but you need to understand one thing - if you want to earn poker, you will have to work very hard. Many people think that for a successful poker game it is enough to know the rules of the game and just press the buttons, but in reality this is absolutely not the case. Poker is a difficult mental and moral work and in order to succeed in it you need to spend a lot of time and effort.
Good luck to you!

I met 44 years the game will seven years then it was older and I think that sport is not by age but for those who want to learn and know to have fun with the poker tables

Of course, the online reflections already decreased a little and so on but nothing stopping to have good performances a short time in an EPT had a FT with a man of over 60 years who played a lot then poker is democratic no matter religion sex age only the desire to play

They say it takes 5 minutes to learn poker but a lifetime to master. It's people that have been playing for years that don't know much (me being one of them :)) Just go and have fun. Learn as you go! Good luck.

Hell yes, I am 66 and learning, still. I enjoy the game with friends and at the casino. I had begginers luck when I first started but now that I am playing with good players, not doing so well, still learning though. I am sure there are alot of retired people that would like to play with you.

yes you can but, it will be a much slower pace, and you need ton of time to dedicate to be good, If your playing online even tougher game. In my opinion than live at any of your local casino.

Basic rules of poker are simple and playing is simple. But knowing hiw to play and understanding what is goung on the table is something harder. As you know, people can learn whole life, in poker it takes much more :D

Of course it's possible!

I taught an 85-year-old grandfather and he helped him to play totally in a few months.

It is possible because it is easy to apprehend the range of hands and the streets, after this it is only practical.;)

I think poker is like anything in life in that you're never too old to try new things. With a little practice you'll eventually become good at it and continue to learn as you keep playing.

More than 10 years ago, a friend of my son started to learn poker and was very insistent that I, too, learned the game. I have long refused and then accidentally saw on television playing poker professionals. I do not understand the rules, I do not understand the meaning of the combination of cards. But I watched with great attention and I wanted to learn the game. Now I am 62 years old. I study, learn, play. And I get a lot of fun and a good training for the brain!

of course but one should be smart and a hard-worker its not that easy as most of people imagine, one need to have a superhuman discipline as well, but it has nothing to do with age at all..

Yes I think so. You just need to be realistic and accept, you are probably not going to become an elite player and compete for millions, when you start this late. And if you play online, you are not going to be the next Nanonoko playing 24 tables at a time.
