Happened yesterday. The other guy was bluffing at the same.time but I got the pot. Than he starts whining because I called his bluff.

It depends if I'm playing a beta or alpha male. If he's beta, I will bluff. If he's alpha, I will grunt before my chips go in, to intimidate him.

That’s one of a vague answer I know, but it’s the most succinct and accurate answer that you can ever expect to get from a question like that. There is no straight answer to the question of “ how often should I bluff ?”. It all depends. To be more precise, when it comes to bluffing in Texas Holdem or any other variant of poker for that matter, you need to evaluate each individual situation before deciding whether or not to bluff.

Over time you will start to figure out good spots for bluffing. It all comes with good strategical knowledge of the game and experience.

Only when it is very necessary. Out of need, I don't use bluff. At 70%, this leads to the loss of a significant portion of the stack.

This is so true. You don't need to bluff every hand. You don't need to bluff 30% of your hands. Just pick times where you absolutely know that your opponent cannot call a certain bet, whether it be a value bet or big bet.

I don’t know how to bluff. Clean bluffing is very rare, even by well-known pros. Semi-bluffing is more popular than clean, as it leaves the player a chance to win. Often used when a player catches a straight draw or a flush draw.

I only bluff if I'm pretty sure my opponent has a strong hand. They will call down to the river then fold. Pays off better.

Several times in a game but depends on situation. You cannot win a tournament without bluffing. But every player should wisely choose moment in the game to bluff and sometimes you run into a trap .
