Some days I do . Same days I don't .
But I don't think I can handle high stakes, no steady money and long days grinding, which leads to getting bored from playing too much

I think all of us would love or like to become a pro poker player, but for this it takes a lot of time, money, skill and a bit of luck :). Good luck to all

to become a pro player, i think that you must behave as a pro, and i think not to play all hands, maybe 20% of hands maximum

Everybody wants to quit their job...sit at home...drinking beer...and play poker successfully...!!! Only it turns out at 0,0001% of players.

In my opinion, it's cool to be a pro. Yes, in many games you get stress, but if you are a winner - you have an excellent life and a favourite job

I,m not sure, that this is a good idea to spend all your free time on poker. Because if you want to be a professional and earn something from that, you need to play a lot.
So as it seems for me, the best decision is just to play some poker in your free time.

Some days I want to be a pro with everything in me. I understand the cons but if I can say that I love my job I believe it will be worth it

Good idea, but I think I missed my time for it.
You and me Victor.

Are you kidding? That's all I ever wanted to be when I grew up. It's a good thing for me I'm only 48 and haven't grown up yet.
I know someone else like that, and he's only 71.

I am aiming to turn pro next year and i am currently in the process of getting backers/stakers and also advertising myself as a player who generates good results - people think that if you cant grind at a micro level then you will struggle at advanced level, i disagree - if you have good math, know your pot odds, effective stack betting, table position skills and know your positive shoving ranges, you always have a chance - some of the best players today do not religiously play by the textbook, your table image is everything.
I am going to be playing a wider range of games up until Xmas 2018 and look to turn pro sometime around March 2019.
I am confident i will get there..
AR AR AR AR
I like your confidence and shall follow your progress with interest. I hope to be able to one day say, "I knew Glenn when he was a Cardschat free roller and league player". All the very best, when you turn professional.

I really want to be a professional player but I do not have time or ability to do it:D
That's just about where I'm at, but unlike you, I have the time. :bawling:

I believe dreaming everyone dreams.
It is my dream,
everyone who plays poker dreams
Put's me to sleep every night. I have played the final table, wsop Main Event, many times. It's now got to the stage, I'm in dream land even before the first hand is dealt.

For me the answer is yes, how to tell who is passionate about taking music that does not and live music, if we like poker should be improved and with the vision of some day be professional ..... and of course to take to that level is a success.

I do not like to play professionally, because I think it is a very expensive and dangerous game, because it can cause players who are not successful to attack their own lives and cases have already happened.

Everyone who wants to be successful in the game here, but you need to differentiate between reality and the game. the game is not always a source of money, sometimes just a hobby. if you take it seriously, it can be expensive for you. do not rush to spend everything for the game. sometimes it just helps to relax. the main thing is to correctly prioritize. in any case, good luck. here you will find the majority of answers to your questions. although I think that not everyone will share their strategy on the game. but in general it will be:cool:

I would love to become a professional poker player, of course if and others also achieve it of course I would like, but I think it is a very important decision that you have to analyze and study very well and more when you have a life away from this medium, talking about professional poker. but it is an option that I always keep in mind and if I get the opportunity to fight for it I will take advantage of it and know that if I decided to take that clear path I would succeed, I know, because I would strive to be the best

if you want to be the best, you will. it all depends on the person and his desire. and no matter what others say. I think it's a success strategy. but all of as need a little bit of luck)

After about fifteen years of playing recreationally I decided to start playing seriously and attempt to become a pro.

That was about three years ago now, during which time I've studied, reading as many books as I can and have ground out somewhere around 10,000 hours online.

Learnt more in the first six months playing seriously than I had in the fifteen years playing recreationally, that's for sure.

It's already been a long, hard road and I've nearly quit two, maybe three times at very low spells but my dream is still alive for now.. [emoji1303]

I would love to play poker full time, but I just can not seem to get to the point to earning enough money at it to pay my bills.

Maybe 1 day, but I can still dream.
