Oh, I'm sorry, I haven't returned to my topic for a long time. I am glad that this topic still attracts participants.
There is no way you can say anyone is better than someone else, just because of Gender differences, Men and Women are both equally good when it comes to playing Poker, The only difference is that there are far more Men playing Poker than Women, there are a lot more Male names on the World Poker Series Trophy than Female names, but that does not prove that Men are better, only that more Men play the game.
It is the same with driving, In the U.K. statistics are used to prove Women are better drivers than Men and get cheaper car insurance, but in reality there are far more Men driving on the roads than Women, so it is only reasonable to assume Men have more accidents.
Statistics and Percentages mean nothing, but everyone assumes that because of the Mathematics used, they must be right, I always think of the age old question "How long is a piece of string?" when that question is answered maybe we can start to rely on Statistics.
When the fun Stops, STOP!
It really doesn't matter what gender a player is, I have come up against some really talented Female players who have beaten numerous Male players to make the Final Table and sometimes winning a Tournament.
Percentage wise, there are more Male players in general, and inevitably most winning players are Men simply because they outnumber the Women, but it does not mean that Men are better players.
You only have to "Google" Women Poker players and you will find lots of great players, I always respect my opposition no matter, whether they are Male or Female, they can be formidable players whatever gender they are.

Thank you for your answers in my topic. It is always a pleasure for me to read your arguments. You usually don't talk superficially, but look into the very essence, commenting on posts.
I wonder why there are fewer women in poker than men? I think men play computer games more than women. Maybe women are less interested in it? :icon_scra
Well I think men's have an advantage due the fact woman didn't seriously played poker longer than 20 years or so but yea both genders can manage a final wsop table I guess
I think the fact is that women have much more basic tasks than men. Therefore, most often they are not up to poker. In addition, poker is always associated with financial risk and women, as keepers of the hearth and budget, are more careful here. Although I am glad that there are more and more of us and that so many programs are aimed at attracting women to poker.
We really will never know until the numbers playing are equal.
I don't think there is any difference. What exists is the presence of more men among those interested in playing Poker.
even though women are more intuitive in many cases they are less risky that does not mean they are fewer winners but in most times you see mixed sports finals the largest number of participants are men
"Many people play poker, both men and women."
I play most often with men at cardrooms (Online and Real), at Casinos the numbers of women playing is slightely bigger.
But who is better?
I coud not tell you with precision, however every time I played with women I won, however I play Poker for more than 15 years and it counts.
Do you think gender affects the quality of poker playing?
Honestly, I perceived experience and variance does it at most often.
Do men play better or do women play better?
I coud not tell you with precision.
What reasons do you have to think so?
Experience and variance changes the spots.
I have seen more men than women in this game, so my answer would not make much sense, since I have not seen many women playing to compare and know who plays better, I think that gender does not influence this game, by the way, I like it the way Dayane Kotoviezy plays.
Thank you for your answers. I agree with you. It is impossible to draw an objective line on this issue, because there are more men in poker.
Yes, I agree with the author of many posts, there is no difference, there are only opponents. But in live poker, if there is a nice and beautiful girl, then she can be beautiful, like a trump card, and it is doubly nice if this trump card turns against herself, so it's cool to play poker. You girls are all beautiful, there are no ugly girls.
The problem is that they begin to use their beautiful charms to distract us... that would be cheating!!! Heh! Heh! Heh!
Thank you for your answers. You made me laugh. I have not encountered such situations.
Online doesn't matter the gender.
Live, i've met just a handful of women in poker.
Simply put, gender doesn't matter but women are so few in poker they are not visible.
Men dominate the game period. That is not to say men are better, the odds are in their favor just because of shear numbers. If the numbers evened out, you might see the number of female winners match male winners.
Just kidding Men rule Poker, hahahahahahahaha
Thank you for your answer, but I don't agree with you here. Indeed, many women have achieved success. They are given special attention: these are women's tournaments, programs to attract women to poker, and the women's Hall of Fame. So, despite the fact that there are significantly fewer of us, we still shine brightly.
both are equal at poker, there is some girls who are more intelligent than man and vice-versa
I think the level of the game depends on the level of thinking, not gender.
It dosen't matter men or womenm, Their money is all the same.
No matter man or women. Everyone can play good or bad poker.
Yes, I agree with you. It does not matter what gender a person is, the main thing is the ability to analyze his game and improve it:angel:
For poker, gender is not important, the one who thinks better and makes smarter decisions is better player. A serious poker player should not attach importance to whether there is a man or a woman on the other side of the table.
Thank you for your answers. I also think that this factor is more important than gender.
I do play poker considering I am a woman. It is good to play and whether I win or lose it doesn't matter to me.

Glad to see you in the community: there are more and more of us.
But in fact, I'm glad that for the majority, gender does not matter. The main thing is the process of the game. Have fun and have fun at the poker tables.
