When I lose a strong hand that could win a play, I get very nervous and irritated. But then I tell myself these things happen and try to focus on winning other strong hands.

This is a learning opportunity. I never forget. I note it mentally and take from it what I must to make me a better player.

When I lose a winning had I do like they used to say THE SHOW MUST GO ON" no sense crying over spilled milk. Suck it up buttercup and play the next hand. Maybe things will end up better the next time

It is psychologically difficult to play tournaments every day. You need to alternate.play tournaments every other day.And there will be good results.

The hard ones are when I have pocket aces or kings, raise big pre-flop and some jack-ass calls with say 10/7 offsuit. They get 8/9 on the flop, then continue to call my big raises until they fish out a straight on the river. It’s those times I think the game is rigged and want to quit playing. Reality is, I just got unlucky playing a bad player and those players actually lose a lot of money.
To put it into perspective, before the pandemic I played poker with about 12 friends a few times a year. Lots of drinking and loose play. One guy is horrible. Will call pretty much any bet with crap cards. Similar situation happened above to me on the very first hand with against this guy. I had pocket aces, hit trips on the flop and he called big raises with nothing until he hit a flush on the river. I lost half my stack. I could have killed him. Instead I went outside, had a smoke, went back in with a smile and patted him on the shoulder.

I just try to be absent for several days so as not to psychologically mistreat myself, and when the time is up, I only think about playing my best.
I encourage everyone, there are good and bad times :)
Blow out the candle of the God of Poker and punish him for a long time.

Hello!! I will share my way with you I have a rule that if I lose even with a good card several times in a row, then if it is possible I leave the table. Poker will be here, it will not disappear, wait. next time it will be better xd I fire Bob Marley at full blast and there is a lot of greetings and I wish you as few moments as possible when he does not go !!

Hi, I believe that controlling emotions is something fundamental in poker so when we are faced with hypotheses like these where we repeatedly lose hands that we are gaining knowledge, trust in the long term and in our not to let ourselves be affected, focus on the long term.

Go to sleep. Good rest and time is a good way to forget.

I try not to pay attention and immediately forget about this incident, telling myself that I did everything right and at a distance it will be a positive action.

If I fold a hand that would have won, I realize I was playing odds, and tending to my budget. If you having emotions and can't stay analytical in you poker pursuit ,,,,it may just not be for you.
