I'm not a beginner.Sometimes there are good tournaments, with few entries and good prizes:smile::smile:

I have not tried those ... haven't seen it on BOL or Bovada.
The recommendation for the pokerstars ZOM game is not bad It plays fast and you don't wait long :)

In my case, only tournaments. Cash games are contraindicated for my bankroll. Thanks to tournaments my bankroll grows, thanks to cash games it decreases.

if it's for starters, tournaments are the best option.
Fast cash games are not always a good thing, as you run a very high risk of losing everything too quickly.

If i have some more time i would probably choose tournament. Cash game like S&G is fast game so i would play it when i have not too much time.

Tournaments require more of a bankroll commitment than cash games. You could be severely under-rolled for the tournaments available but have just the right amount for a cash game bankroll. If your bankroll is on the small side, online may be your only option for tournaments:)

Hello, I prefer playing tournaments rather than cash games, I think that this is everyone's business, because someone likes to sit and play tournaments for a long time, and someone loves to play fast cash games! But I think that for beginners it is better to start with tournaments, because in them you train discipline, and this is one of the basic necessary skills in poker! All good!

I prefer tournaments, nowadays the cash game is very difficult due to the amount of help software that is used. Besides, there is no better emotion than winning a tournament

Cash games are unprofitable for me. I always lost money in cash games, so I stopped playing them. I prefer tournaments.

I began with tournaments, I think thjey are my fun, more on the sport side. But after kids were born, time is not an asset that I control. Maybe when I retire. Cash for now

I love my cash games, they can be as long or as short as I need them to be, being able to hop off the table at anytime is great!

I play mainly tournaments and I advise you if you are on a budget or you are not good at bankroll management. In the last 2 years I have also been playing spin-and-go, but here there is a very high variance, so you need to know the theory very well in order to be in the black. And constantly be in trends and know new trends in this type of poker.

short term vs long haul

A gloomy day, with time to kill, 2 options: 1- short-term, exciting; cash game. 2-long-term, time consuming, multi table tournament. The short-term cash games can be a lot of fun. But those fun times can be really costly.
Often better to play multi table tournament to consume time, and if you succeed, turn any profits into cash games.
