I combine tournaments with cash games. Basically, everything depends on the availability of free time. If I don't have much free time, I play cash games. Although in general tournaments bring me more money.

I play tournaments 99% of the time, especially when playing online. When playing live games its usually cash games.

I like tournaments better, it's more interesting, it takes time but you have fun and you get everything bad out of you:D:icon_sant

I vote for the tournament, but often sit in to play cash game also.
It also depends on your mood and free time to play.

Tournaments are more exciting to me, although I rarely get to the money.

I prefer tournaments to cash games. Knowing that I’ve a lot to learn about poker, I find the upfront cost of a tournament cheaper per hand than cash games so cheaper to improve my game with them

Through my experiences, I have found I can lose and win with both. It, to me, is all about what I want to do. With online poker algorithms being what they are, and the realization that I am playing with a lot of talented players online, plus playting against the algos too, there is no real one way or the other.

Tournament games for me. I have played cash, they are okay, but prefer the
tournament format.

Be Well

I enjoy playing tournaments

But I can only afford freerolls or micro buy-ins and those tend to have a large number of players, which as a beginner, I find overwhelming

..and the re-buys and add-ons make it even crazier lol

to play tournaments you need more patience and time, in cash game it can be adapted to shorter hours.

so it should be chosen according to the time you have

being a winner on cash games is more satisfying for me. Plus you can leave whenever you want. But I appreciate tourneys too

First of all, I will approach this issue from a financial point of view. Many of the players play poker just for fun. If you belong to this category of people, then feel free to play any game. Play what brings you more fun and enjoyment. However, if you approach this issue from the point of view of earnings, then it is worth trying to find a game that will bring you the maximum monetary profit.

Ideally, I prefer to play cash games because if you play as well/run as hot in a cash game, you're making more money in less time than in the same situation in a tourney. Unfortunately, I've always had better results at tourneys... :)

For me, games are cash more suitable as there are more amateurs at low limits.

Depends

With gloomy and rainy weather what do you suggest?Cash game or tournament?
It really depends on your strategy. Your the only person who can evaluate this. Tournament strategy is very different from a cash game. And it has nothing to do with the weather:). To be more specific you should play a cash game as if I early stage of a tournament, if that’s your style… but if you like some aggressive bluffs go for turbo tournaments 🏟:)). Good luck with whatever you choose!

I play only in tournaments, because here you can play slowly and win, but in cash games you can lose the entire pot in one hand, I have seen how one player in cash tables without a limit won 2K, and then, in one hand, lost the whole pot, hitting the flush from the ace, and he had a flush from the king.
