The difference between medicine and poison is the dose. This is good for online poker as well. The problem with marijuana is that it clears the way for cocaine. Try to have your head done, cocaine is dangerous. I only drink beer, lol off obv game.

Marijuana is the gateway to nothing. I didn't try cocaine because I smoked weed, I tried cocaine because it was at an experimental age in my life and had an adventurous personality. To compare marijuana and cocaine is ridiculous, they have completely opposite affects. I have also drank heavily in my past, I do not drink anymore. It caused far more problems than marijuana ever has or ever will. I'll smoke a bowl or 2 and you drink your 12 pack and we can play some poker.

Provocative... Marihoochie is such a harmless but effective herb that it can do only what the user/intake-master will allow it to do. I try to look at it like a J9-std, it's not the best measure for finding out where you are in a hand but it certainly has it's 'high' points; and if it doesn't work for you then you're probably using it wrong. In order for a human to consume enough marijuana to be fatal, they would have to consume nearly 40,000 times the amount of THC required to intoxicate them. In contrast, it only requires about 5 to 10 times the amount of alcohol required to intoxicate, to be fatal.

If it requires 3 beers to intoxicate you, it only requires 15 to 30 beers to kill you. However, if it takes you 3 'hits' of marijuana to intoxicate you, it would require 120,000 hits to kill you. Thus, it is virtually impossible to die of a marijuana overdose.

FYI, I have been a pot smoker for some time, 30+ years to be honest and I am employed and have been so for many years, I don't smoke or ingest before I start working or while working.
I am a father and grandfather, I am intelligent, or so I've been told.
Marijuana is not something to be scared of.

I can tell that there are a lot of people who have never indulged before posting on here.

I am a fairly regular smoker. It tends to affect people differently, and without even getting into the conversation about sativa v indica, it tends to calm me down and enables me to better concentrate on a single task.

I cannot multitask well when smoking, and live poker requires a certain amount of multitasking.

All that said I've never been high in a casino. Moderation would be key, I think, but for some people I don't see why it couldn't work out really well and improve their game.

The first marijuana laws were written with intent to discriminate against Mexicans and African-Americans. Prohibition of pot is a bazillion times sillier than prohibition of alcohol. Unlike alcohol or a litany of prescription drugs, there is a 0% chance of forming a physical addiction to pot. It just doesn't work that way.

You can become physically addicted to caffeine, but not pot.

Don't knock it until you try it. It's not for everyone, but it's not the work of the devil, either.
