Both the cache and the mtt require a fair amount of time . Therefore, you need to choose one thing . In Kesh, you also need to learn because everything is different there than in tournaments..

Cash

Cash games have higher risk . One mistake or bad beat and ur bankrolls pretty much gone.
I prefer Tournaments since u decide urself how much u can lose and the profit is pretty much insane if u run good + I love the thrill of being on a final table / headsup

The 2.

It is true that tournaments have big prizes, but it takes longer to get them, in cash games or regular tables, however, in a matter of minutes you can make a big pot.

hello

It depends on the preparation you have, I like tournaments! I am not attracted to the cash table

for me it is very difficult to make money in cash games, it looks that even in the micro stakes 1-2 cents lots of shark just sit and wait to take my bloody earned 5$ in 6 hours tournament with 50 cents buy in, so from time to time when i forget just trying again.

I think it just depends on what you are better at. I'm a much better tournament player. I'm a losing player in cash games. But in tournaments I am profitable.

Depends on the person

I think it depends on the person and the play style.

Tournament play can bring you a huge jackpot if you run well and play a solid tournament throughout. Can’t make many mistakes and need to manage bankroll well to make the cash.
Tournaments are also a fun time to play as well!

Cash games are another great option! If you are a solid player and choose tables that are at your skill level or below, you can be very profitable! If you are at a table with no action or at a table with local pros that are above your level than you need to look for another table in the poker room to play. Don’t sit a table that you aren’t comfortable playing at!

I personally prefer cash games over tournaments but I play in both because both Ofer a different side of poker!

It is something different, in tournaments you neglect for a few moments and you can be left out, the concentration you need is full, and for several hours, although if you achieve it the prize can be very interesting. In cash, although you must be concentrated, you should not spend hours playing, you can go out when you are tired, and other alternatives that you cannot do in the tournament.

Tournaments bring me the most consistent money. It is a grind though. I get lost sometimes in the glamour of doubling a cash "buy-in" with a single hand, than the overall management of bankroll. I have built my bankroll after weeks of play many a time only to get a gambling bug and lose my winnings at the cash tables. That is the gambler in me though. This game isn't my main source of income by any means. If I treated it like a job my overall stats would be better. For now I will have fun improving my tournament play and practice patience with my cash games. May the rest of you enjoy better results!

tournaments are more profitable ,just an exemple 200$ buyin at pokerstars can bring you + 150k (million dollar GTD) .You will never see this type of score in cash game...of course you have to be talented and extremely lucky

I prefer to participate in tournaments. Certainly when you get in the first places the prize is very profitable. Worth it!

Cash games seem more profitable to me. Tournaments seem like you really need to bink a big one to even come close to what a grinder can do in a year at 5/10.

I guess cash is better in high limits. when you have 1-2 great fishs at the table you can win great money quickly.

I think tournaments are more profitable, one of your winnings will significantly expand your bank roll

Tournaments

I think in the long run tournaments would be more profitable because you can win 400x your buy-in, and even more at times. Cash games can be steady in profit but usually a good winning session would be a buy-in or two, sometimes a few. But when you can take $55 and turn it into 20k or more then THAT'S WHAT I CALL PROFIT! :)

For living you have to play both sometimes cash sometimes tournaments. I play both but my focus will be in tournaments which gives high bankroll at the end. Cash for me is like come n go but doesn’t stay long . In next session or next hands somebody will eat it.

I alternate between the two, but currently the freeroll tournaments are giving me the most profit
