what one make you rich?
Tournament big prize but long and long time, why you choose that style?

Hi.
For me, the most profitable tournaments are freerolls. This is obvious and there is no doubt about it.
Good luck.

For me tournaments are the best choice and it turns out to be a good game, but very little money!
For little money (and in some places even free), you can play for a very long time and, if you're lucky, win 100 times more. Agree, this is a solid indicator that is completely unattainable for a cash game.
As practice shows, tournaments have their own "simplicity" - your stack is traditionally very short (20-30-40 BB), and most of the decisions should be made pre-flop. By the way, winning a famous tournament is always not only money, but also glory and honor.

I don't personally like tournaments as they take too much of my time with no flexibility, and the variance is insane. In cash games I can play whenever I want and don't need to worry about as bad downswings.

Cash or tournament which is more profitable

Cash games are more profitable because you pretty much gotta win to make real money in tournaments.

SNG is an other choice between cash game and tournament.

Cash game cost more than tournament.

end of career cash desk

I do not play open table, because tournament you know your limit, even if it is high, that is not the point. the problem of the open table that the person has to know his limit before putting on the table what he doesn't even have, open table is a door to bankruptcy. in my humble opinion of course

Biggest bang for your buck again Imho Tournaments.

I think in the long term the tournaments are more profitable. Both can make profit. A switching between them is exciting!

It all depends on the time you have to play. If you have little time it is more profitable to play cash, with a few hours you can have good results. On the other hand, for tournaments you must dedicate more time and it is generally more difficult to have good results

CG is not for me. It is good for rake, or lose my tourney winnings. So tourneys, sometimes multitable SNGs. But it depends on many things, obviously your time for poker gives a limit. If you do not have 10+ hours in a day, just few, then tourneys are out, so only CG and SNG are the options.

Generally cash games are with lower variance than MTTs so if you are good player and want relatively stable constant income from poker cash games should be better for you. If your dream is to win big, life changing amount of money MTTs are the key but you will need more luck compared with cash. Pro players seem to mix both formats.

As for me, there are tournaments! Although it takes longer to play there, you can go up high in small things !!!

It is more profitable not to lose))) And the discipline must be selected for each player individually !!! Not all players have the patience to play a long tournament !!!

In high stakes in cash there are bigger numbers, but winning in mtt is more easy I guess.

Personally you can on both but I think tournaments would be better. Cash game are very slow and steady. You can play just one tournament and if its your time you win big. Personally I would not worry about the money and play what most fun to you. If it happens it happens.

Depends...

If you are someone who can handle the swings and not loose your cool id say cash games it can be annoying folding in cash games but knowing when to is the key to actually taking away a profit in the long run. also remember that your much less likely to face a jam bluff in cash games whereas in tournaments many players will frequently jam ESPECIALLY if they can outchip you and make sure they stay in!

no cash
