I think TT will probably be a bigger statistical long term winner, so that's the one I would choose.

I've lost so many times w 10's, incl on the bubble went it folded around to me at button, in my first live tournament. The SB had KK...

I'll take KQ

I definitely choose 10 10 in any situation, as I already have at least one pair formed.

TT is way better.

TT is ahead of AK-AJ and crushes AT-A2 and 22-99. KQ is behind all of them.

You're more likely to make a Set with TT than you are Two-Pair with KQ.

10 10

I like 10 10 more simply because it is a made hand. I can play the hand more confidently and be more sure about my decisions, because it is easier to tell where my hand stands in comparison to other players. KQ is still a nice hand obviously but I prefer the 10 10 premium.

I would prefer 10 10 because it is directly a pair, but if you have KQ and you are not lucky enough to enter something on the table it is lost.

10 10, it will sound weird but I prefer this pair over KK, for example.

On odds alone 10 10

KQ can get messy against AQ or AK, where 10 10 is safer, and also has great value over some pretty good hands A 10, K, 10 Q 10 or J 10

I was going to say KQ until I read this response and I have changed my mind to 10/10 . . . Thank you for the great explanation!

For me, the pair of 10s. My win rate is 2 to 3 times more depending on whether we are talking AKo or AKs vs. 1010.

As said previously it all depends on the situation, but in general I'd rather have TT, specially in bounty tournaments. Both hands have 24 combinations that dominate them, but KQ usually has an edge because it will more often have an extra out. I preffer TT because it has a bigger edge on hands that can be agressive preflop like suited aces, lower pocket pairs and even sime suited connectors. Hands that are flipping will usually be TAs + so I think that in almost all stack sizes a shove with TT will be more profitable than w KQ.

It depends on how many chips I have I go ALL in with 10/10, with KQ I'm more than good.
I prefer 10/10 if I'm in a good situation.

I am just now starting to eliminate Tens from my hand selection. I just never win with it and I am getting busted out of tournaments with it often. I am always very cautious with JJ so I don't know why I play TT so aggressively. It makes no sense. A leak in my game I am trying to fix. I will take KQ all day every day.
