Hello Jeff, I would like your opinion on online poker software aka Holdem Manager. I have starting using it but find it distracting as I don't think you see enough hands from an individual during one tournament. Is it worth running the hud or just using the software to find leaks in your game?

Hello, Jeff Gross, how often do you play by intuition, and what decision do you make when intuition advises you to lose your hand, and is it possible to play by the chances of the bank?

Watching your Youtube channel now, in particular:

My Question is this:
Did they ever solve the "bedbug" issues at the Seminole Hard Rock Casino yet??!!

A 2nd question is this:
Did you learn online before casino, or more to the point, how did you begin your poker journey?

Hi Jeff ,

What's more satisfying for you?

A critical Hero call or a successful bluff and why?

I think a successful bluff is more satisfying. Calling and being wrong you just muck but bluffing you have to show your hand or sheepishly muck. I think it takes more courage and thought process to go for a big bluff. Calling is less pressure, you sit there and think while bluffing you pull the trigger then must wait for your opponent! Great question! I am personally working on incorporating bluffing more into my own game!

I have used a HUD for several years (PT4) up until the change on partypoker that banned HUDs. I have found it refreshing & my results have been better without using one (keep in mind everyone on partypoker now does not have one). I think it is better to find leaks in your game then in game use but it can provide benefit. MyGame is out now for partypoker which is a great way to review your game as well.

Hey Jorge! Glad you have gotten into the game!
I really feel strongly about coaching programs. There are several good ones, I recommend Raise Your Edge which I endorse on my website; Jeffgrosspoker.com/ryejeff

Books I think are out dated and I am a visual learner personally. Twitch is great it is more fun and not usually super in depth in spots same as youtube.

Hard to say really on the top 5 but there are rankings on the hendonmob website for example you can see or on pocketfives.com for online!

Best of luck!
Jeff

HU SNG VS MTT

Hi

My first post!

Ive been a SNG player for a few years now. I have worked out that my ROI is about 5% over a big sample size. Im thinking of moving to MTT's.

The fields on the site I play avg between 50-100 players with the prize pool being very top heavy top 8 usually get paid. Finish 8th you basically break even.

The sng format is a cross between a hyper/turbo.

In terms of VARIANCE which of the two has more variance given the above explanation? Im thinking of moving to MTT's but want to know thats not going to be as swingy as the STT's I play.

Thanks for your time!

Hello! Awesome to have you here & ty for sharing your first post w/ me!

MTT certainly have the most variance. If your in good games and have the proper bankroll it can work well. The version of mtt your playing certainly can have variance but this is way less then big mtt fields. Just as cash games are safer then amy of the above in terms of variance if you are winning player. Congrats on your success & best of luck w/ your poker journey!

Hi! If you are asking what your odds are to win AA vs TT it is roughly 80/20. Cards Chat has a new odds calculator you can plug all types of scenarios like this in!

Play free rolls on sites! There are loads of these or arrange to be on a stake (if you are a competent player)

Good luck!
