How did you get interested in Poker?

Seeing the 2003 the wsop Main Event over and over on ESPN, and discovering online poker was what got me interested in the game. Without the ESPN coverage, I doubt I would have ever played a hand of the game.

I was a sports nut so I always had the TV on ESPN and when poker became big there it definitely peaked my interest. Been hooked ever since

I became interested in poker at an early age playing 5 card draw for pennies with my cousins. I leaned the game from my father and uncles. It is one of my favorite childhood memories.

went to vegas with friends and lost my bankroll at the craps table.one of my friends staked me $40 to play 2/4 while he played nl. i hit the badbeat for $31,000. been hooked since than.that was in 1989 and have won{big/little end} 11 bad beats, so far . with all that i'm more or less even. just enjoy the game.

I learned to love poker from my family. Every holiday or birthday, the adults would get together and play cards. They were always having a great time and I could not wait til I was old enough and had some money of my own to play.

Hello, watching the final table of the 2,008 WSOP Main Event on ESPN when the final table was played in November and was called The November Nine.I remember that I just wanted to watch a football match and I found myself watching this new sport and I loved it ever since.Idid watch the whole final table until Peter Eastgate became World Champion.
