As most sites are mainly geared around Texas no limit hold'em it got me wondering how many variants others know how to play. Are you hold'em only or are you well rounded?
I can play Hold'em, Omaha both hi and hi/lo, Razz, Seven card stud + hi/lo and I'm currently teaching myself badugi.
How about you?
If I list the disciplines of 8-games and HORSE, which I can play the most, the list will be in the following order (from strong to weak):
Stud Hi-Lo (interesting and varied)
Omaha Hi-Lo (same as first)
Razz (no less interesting, but only a lowball)
Hold'em NL (results increasingly depend on luck)
2-7 triple draw (so-so, for an amateur)
Stud (too monotonous)
Hold'em limit (too boring, not dynamic)
Pot Limit Omaha (simply the most random and dispersive game)
Of course, most of the money was won in NL Hold'em. But also lost to him the most.
