Sometimes I listen to music during the game. I believe that music positively affects my results. I am convinced that music contributes to concentration.

I enjoy playing with music mostly electronic but sometime I feel that music can make me play differently, for example get me over excited in a normal hand just because there was a great part in the song coming and not being completely focused on the game.

What are your opinions does music improve your game?

If it does, what kind of music?

Honestly i think classical music are excellent to concentrate, like Mozart, Beethoven, Bach and Chopin, even on the best part of the music you won't loose your focus. If i listen to different styles i loose some reads and focus, it's really hard to ignore the best part of Rock or Eletronic music, the hype can change your mentality and how you play, so while i'm playing i tend to listen only classical songs.

Yes, listening music can improve spatial-temporal reasoning performance. I think that listening good music (rock, classical music) affects our mood and behaviour and improve our performance playing poker.

I love music, when playing poker. Sometimes it's better to take the buds out of your ears and listen the what is being discussed, because then you can sometimes learn something about a player, which you might have missed, something that could tell you about someone's conservativeness, or the amount of gamble they might possess. Time and place, really...

Absolutely.
I like mix of instrumental and electronic music, jazzy and good vocal.

I've got couple of playlists for different moods and types of activity.
If I work plus play couple of MTTs then listening to something more energetic, if i'm having a rest then chillout music is the best.

Try these tunes.

thank me later.

I must be concentrate; I can't do two things at same times

then maybe I could get the best result

Music distracts me. I very rarely turn on the music while playing.

Generally avoid music. Sometimes I'll listen to stuff I've heard before, but never any new albums.

I think music influences my game! I can not say for sure that this is a plus or a minus for my game, but there is definitely an impact!

I must be concentrate; I can't do two things at same times

That's a bad idea. Even couple of bad ideas you've got there.
Maybe even play 1 table with full concentration?

Hey you know what?
I have practiced to play 16 tables at the same time, I've spent more than 1 month playing 16 tables at NL2 cash and micro limit tourneys, together with freerolls. I had bad results, I used to play Starcraft in past and was good at it, was very fast, had 125-130 CPM (Clicks per minute) but at the poker tables you have to stay focused at many different processes what start all over again and again, unlike in starcraft, where you're expanding step-by-step.

You know why I've played 16 tables for 1 month? Because I wanted to play well at 9-12 tables.

Something simmilar is practiced in martial arts trainings. You're fighting against 5 opponents each day. They beat you each time, but one day you're beating all 5 of them. Next day you're fighting against 3 opponents, not against 5, but just 3, you find it so simple. Next week you're against one single opponent and you find it as easy as piece of cake.

In your case, "concentration in silence, can't do two things" = it's not going to work.
Your case is trying to be Sherlock Holmes, using deductive method. From common to private. You're trying to see the facts that will lead you to success. It's like staying in the dark and trying to absorbe the light.
You better use inductive method. No need to absorbe somebody elses light, you have to start shining by yourself. Inductive method is from private to common. You have to start shining at the poker tables and in your life.

Hey what is better scenario? To wait and fold 40 hands until you're dealt KK or AA, play it aggressively and to win or lose once? Or to play 30 out of 40 hands with any suited cards or connectors, see most of the flops, fold when odds are bad, double up with straights and flushes against pocket aces/kings and have x8 times bigger stack than original after 40 hands? You decide how to live your life and how to play poker, to sit and wait for a miracle to happen or to try and create miracle on your own. Anyway, each hand, doesn't matter if it's AA or 7-2, each hand can win. And what are your chances to win when you're dealt 2 cards, but you don't know them, you're not picking up your cards, opponent goes all-in, and you call, it's a blind all-in. you know nothing about opponents cards and nothing about your whole cards and nothing about community cards. What are your chances at this moment? You will either win or lose, right? So... start doing 2-3-4 things at the same time and concentrate on all of them, life is too short to spend it on waiting for something in the silence.

I like listening to music when playing, but I find it especially helpful playing live poker depending on the venue. Some games are more friendly/social than others, and if I have an overly chatty table, having headphones in drowns out their noise and lets me focus on the game. It also will generally keep people from talking to me and distracting me. I know it seems a bit coldhearted, but I play to win. I'll gladly talk to all those people during breaks.

I would not say that music improves my game, it’s just that music doesn’t bother me in the game and sometimes I enjoy listening to music that I like and which I can listen to constantly in the game or on my free time from work or from playing
