It really does not bother me too much, I tend to talk a lot when I am doing well and will sometimes show
hands I am raising with if they all fold to me, Putting players on the defensive and you can take advantage of some situations.
In one game I had said I was waiting for my first wave of good hands, when I was dealt K/K I raised and when everyone folded, I showed them, then in the very next deal I had A/A and raised again saying "here it comes" everyone folded a 2nd time, So I showed again, on the 3rd deal I had 5/2 given to me and raised a third time and said "3rd time lucky, I just need one caller" they all folded again and I showed a 3rd time.
Most of the table laughed when I showed the 5/2 off, all except the blinds that is. It keeps the other players guessing on what you are holding and raising with, it also
tells the table you are not afraid of playing any two cards, I have made the nuts with many different two card combinations even 7/2 wins some of the time.
Losing a small £5 buy-in to some live games I have played, may seem a lot, to some people it could feed a family for a week in some Countries, to me it is couple of cups of coffee.
I play because I want to play Poker, have a little fun and enjoy the game, it really does not bother me when I win or lose, if you can play with this type of attitude, it really is a great game.
When the fun Stops, STOP!
