I love to talk ... crazy even crazy, hahaha, but that's right, when I'm in several online tournaments I try to talk and motivate myself, whatever the result, it works very well for me, bad plays, I analyze them out loud to understand That is wrong ... and the good plays I congratulate myself with the achievement ... I almost never like to play in casinos for the reason that I did not learn to play quietly, or in silence ... good luck whatever your decision ... .

in online poker i rarely speak at the tables but there are exceptions. talking itself doesn't bother me as long as it doesn't degenerate into a discussion. but I have nothing to say about simple nice chat

In online poker I will never talk aside from saying NH or TY. If playing in person with people I know obviously it's more casual and conversation happens. But at a casino I will only talk a little if someone talks to me first. I feel higher the stakes the less likely I would be to talk.

I'm definitely not a talker, and for whatever reason I tend to attract talkers who may sense that I can be an attentive listener. While I am always courteous and polite, sometimes I just would rather focus on the poker action.

Typically I only enable chat at final tables and only actually talk during HU play. Live I'm actively anti-social unless there are actual people I know off the felt playing. Most of the time it seems like anyone talking at a table (online or live) is either just sprinkling their salt or trying to gas light/get information.

I turn chat off -- I do not chat at all and I also don't particularly like reading other player's chat when it is mean spirited . . . I am not a professional and I am not playing to make a living -- I am playing for fun and I don't find reading people gloating or being a bad loser adds to 'my fun' so I never enable the chat feature.

talking is a huge distraction specially online. i think the best thing to do is to turn off the chat and stay focused in the game.

I try my best not to talk during a game. I did give some props to TeUnit today. He offered some good advice at the table, and I gave him a piece of my mind, that he is probably a more aggressive player than me, and poker tends to reward those who are aggressive.

I do admire Negreanu's chattering at the tables. I notice when he becomes quiet, the other players are in trouble, because he is holding a monster hand.

I also notice some players do not mind losing to a chatterbox at times, if the talker is being pleasant and not mean spirited. As if this nice talkative person, was not trying to take their money.

I hate talking at the table. I'm just not a very social person. It gives me anxiety to be in social settings. If I am playing online I turn the chat off. I wish I was able to be more outgoing and personable but you are who you are.

Usually I prefer not to talk at all. I don't really see poker as too much of a social game. If I wanna talk I'll go do something else, when I play poker I'm trying to make the best decisions possible.

If I do, no one will hear me as I sit alone in front of my desktop. Cursing is optional; bad beats are not.

In the "La Liga party poker" games, are only latam players and i get an answer more often... but people is not very friendly in general... i feel GGNetwork players are more friendly, but most are asian and dont talk english, its sad

We say: "When I eat, I am deaf and dumb." If conversations get in the way of healthy digestion, then they are equally detrimental to concentration and therefore not compatible with the game of poker. However, there are exceptions!
