i am gonna tell you a small story that happened with me .
once i was playing holdem at a table at casino du liban ,a man sitting near me was playing on the table and a big tournament on pokerstars ,at midnight he stooped playing at the table to focus on pokerstars cause he was at the final table ,i did too and watched him (we made friends ) at 4:00 am he won the first place 483000 $

and since then i never saw him in the casino .maybe he traveled or died in a heart attack

Not really no, I mostly play for fun and I'm no where close to playing high stakes or winning big Tournaments as of now.

Some of my personal opinion is that a person can get rich at poker, and I think that one day I will reach the level that I will earn a lot of money so that I don't have to play for him anymore for money, but for fun ... :):D

Honestly I would be fine if I could just get something close to min wage an hour consistently or just a bit more.
Amazing freedom and flexibility with no boss breathing down your neck. Anything more than that will be gravy to me.

I play poker for the excitement and fun, but if I am able to get rich, off it the better I'll be. I dont play to get rich , i also play for the love of the game. Even when i started playing 20 years ago always , for the love and excitement of cards. Never to get rich.

I definitely wouldn't say im rich or will he a millionaire soon but I play full time and do very well all my bills are always paid and I have a great home and family and I travel 3 or 4 months a year playing...so for me that is being rich from poker and it's been over 10 years ...we are all blessed to have the opportunity to play this incredible game

Yes, I'm honing my skills to enter the big tourney's... 1 good tourney could be a life changer for most

It would be the same as my overall investment strategy to build enough passive income that it wouldn't matter what I do afterwards. So I could just enjoy it without any other goal.

IceMan said it well that one big win could be a life changer. I can't imagine a single event bumping me up by $millions. It must be an amazing feeling! I'd probably have to battle not chasing that feeling afterwards....

I think anyone would like to get rich from poker, but if you don't put in more money and just want to win from tournaments I don't think I'll get rich that fast.

I am developing in several directions, since passive income should be constant. Over time, there is a dream to reach that level in order to win one of the largest offline poker tournaments on an international scale)

Hello, it is an objective but first you have to go through many stages before, but it would be a good achievement to get rich playing what you like.

It is very long jorney, 5-10 years normally. You must study every day, thinking about your game, how you can improve it. its all about your mindset. Everyone can do it, but not everyone can find motivation for that.

Playing for fun to me is still a great deal you know... Of course if I start getting better and better thinking that maybe I could make a living from it, I'd go for it! And just then I woul dream with a big hit
