No idea, Im not even sure it is the real guy but that was the first time I sat with him but the name is super familiar.

Yeah if that was his name without numbers or w/e then it's the guy who used to play high stakes. Kinda crazy how somebody could drop that far

Holy shit, I now realise that it would take 6 to 7 hours to reach the bubble. Probably not a good idea to play this :(

Lol donkaments

Might be taking a PLO break. Last nights long session tilted me too much. I will still play some HA and PLO8.

Only 2 hands to post for now. Because of the first one, I chose to shove the second because it was only 5 hands later and he was just potting everything and plus he showed that he only needs top pair to get stacks in. Pretty sick preflop dynamic with tons of 3 bets but nothing to talk about postflop

God... I thought I might have gotten myself going again but I am so god damn tilted right now I shouldn't touch poker for awhile I don't think.

Had a brief resurgence but I am on one hell of a downswing and I think I've lost touch with some basics and a good thought process.

Although I am so far below EV on this swing it could just be (at least some) bad variance... I'm not real sure... I do feel like if the money goes in I expect to lose the hand right now though. I'm losing something like 75% of big pots on this swing.

Why do you do that to yourself? Why get it in with bottom set on a board where a straight it possible?

Well. I wasn't bragging. ;) I meant to show a particularly terrible looking hand for dramatic effect. But since you ask, I'll tell you why I made such a bad decision (ignoring flatting that crap pre flop in the first place).

First of all this was a cap table.

The table was 4 handed at this time on my right and left were two nitty weak players who were nut peddling. They would consistently fold any hand that wasn't the nuts or a big combo draw to the nuts to even a minbet.

The villain in this hand was tilted badly after having lost lots of big pots, mostly due to bad play. At this point he wasn't flipping, but would shove just about any board he connected to remotely, or when he had a pocket pair, or a poor draw.

I made a quick, and fairly terrible judgement that ANY set with a little straight redraw was a good contender against the range of things he was shoving, and a lot of what he would have there would be two pair, top pair, and draws. I foolishly ignored how many of my outs were likely dead or greyed out which is how I think of outs that part of the time, help my opponent more than me (the boat outs this time and any time I am an underset in this situation).

What he DID have was actually WORSE than the straight. It took away any chance a drawing a boat, and nullified my straight draw. And I hit the miracle to save my ass.

I posted it BECAUSE it was so magnificently ridiculous.

Several of the hands I've lost recently have been when I got it in way ahead. And like the villain in this hand watched as my opponent would hit a gutterball or runner cards to take the pot down.

I thought it was dumb enough to post, and the best thing I can learn from it tonight is I suck out as much as anyone... even after a near lethal mistake.

Yo guys. New to omaha and basically tracking software in general. What's best omaha software? Pt3, omaha manager or maybe omaha indicator. I currently using pt3 60 day trial. How is the hud in omaha indicator? Cuz being somewhat new to omaha the poker calculator aspect could be useful. Or is there other software I should check out?

I think on some opponents I would be c/c the turn....maybe I'm a little to conservative? Obviously c/r the river if no scare card comes....then again I don't play 2PLO.

If you're getting stacks in on turn against a decent opponent there's a good chance you're getting free-rolled.

I think you played it great though.
