Lol typical hand where you are so happy that you didn t have a deuce on the board ,that would have been more painful considering the idea that your opponent could have A 45 and so he could be willing to calla raise pot

Absolutely. And I don't really care if he is short or has me covered. I am going to see 3/4 or all the pot enough times to make up for the times I see 1/4-1/2

Then again, see above hand for insight on who this advice is from ;) :icon_joke ;)

Or felted, which has happened to me the last 2 times I did this - but good, glad I got confirmation.

cAPSLOCK, you played that last hand REALLY well. The one where he had aces? You know something is up with the check/call.

I actually had a hand very much like your 7655 hand where I had nut straight w/ redraws. I had like T988 in the BB maniac raises, SB flats and so do I. Flop comes 576 2 hearts, 1 spade. Sb leads out. I raise pot. Maniac calls. Sb calls. Turn comes 3 spades. It's checked to me and I bet pot. By this time I'm essentially all in. Maniac folds. SB thinks for a while and finally calls. River comes 7 of diamonds. I have like .74 left (10PLO) and he just bets into me and turns over like 7543 with 2 spades.

Oh wait. I didn't see the word 'draw' after the words 'nut low'. I thought you already had a lock on the low.

So hrm... that changes it a lot. I might even be folding to a checkraise. Not only are we drawing on both sides we are not multi-drawing to the high hand.

I am tracking a session right now so i can't do some math, but I have a feeling this is a bad spot most of the time.

^^ what do you think you did wrong?

I have no problems with any of this... actually think you played it well.

I have massive problems with the SB's approach however lol

I feel like limp/calling these particular cards pre flop is overly loose. Even with my spectaculous post flop play I still lose 15bb.

ah yeah ok... yeah I will agree with you on that, I thought you open raised it...

If you are going to play something like that open raise it pre, open limping is just kinda ewww.

by the same token, that's a great hand to overlimp in LP if you have a limp chain going on in front of you.

I have no reservations whatsoever open raising that from the BTN or CO... from MP it's kinda marginal but ok dependent on the table.

I still like your postflop play lots though!

Well I don't know if its normal at stakes higher than my penny stakes, but there is almost always some guy who is 100/100 from the blinds, and likely 70/50ish from all other positions. These guys are free money usually.. but recently have been busting me with the dumbest draws. ;)

Sitting at 4 ante tables this morning ( 3 50 and 1 100) and Im trying something different. Instead of playing 200bb deep, Im only in for 100bb which means its closer to like 65bb effective stacks. Just trying to feel out how often I can get stacks in etc. Also one of the players at my table is ICallSoWhat who use to be this big HSPLO player so that should be fun.

Someone tell me how money does not get in on this turn. He has effective gin because I have been anything but nitty over the last 3 or 4 orbits. Bad river but how does he not shove the turn. I have raised like 50% of hands preflop since he came to the table.

Tried to grind omaha on pl 10 when i had my biggest br so far (440Dollars).
First i ran well for a few days, after those days everything changed.
Started to lose every coinflip, didn't get lucky at all and cards were very dry.
Tried also some pl25 6-max. Variance i think?
Playing pl 25 is much more different than 10.

And to marginals post.
Thats very strange, the opponent had second nuts with oesdf?
I wonder also why didn't he shove.
But good that he didnt hit on river and u got the pot:p

I really dont mind if he hits the river. It has to happen but Im just wanted him to shove turn :p. I mean, it makes sense to do it because he crushes my range but Im probably folding almost everything so its actually a better call on his part. Ie he gets more value from calling. You just dont come around people who dont shove sets

Its my opinion that 25 plo is easier than 10plo and 50 plo is easier than 25plo and then it get harder.

Btw, I know this is a cash game thread but there is the 55$ mini ftops PLO game today. it has 6k starting stacks and 12 minute blind levels up to a certain level then it is 15 then 20 minute. Seems like anyone who is accustom to 100bb PLO game (ie cash) can do well with this structure. It starts at 1 est and just posting this incase anyone is interested but did not know before

Holy shit, I now realise that it would take 6 to 7 hours to reach the bubble. Probably not a good idea to play this :(
