I think that all of the bankroll managment problems come from one and one thing only - attachment to the money. As long as we are looking at our wins/losses in terms of pure money value we are bound to our greed that sooner or later will take control, leading us most likely to busto. It's probably the hardest problem to tackle in poker imo and everyone must find his own way of approaching.

I used to play cash tables for a while but now I find it better on MTT tables and sattelites. Still once in a while it's nice to change it up a little bit and play on cash tables again. Just play what you feel is comfortable for you.

I know that I should really stop playing cashgames. Main reason is that I can simply not stick to my bankroll management and always start playing over my limits when I lose a couple of hands in a row. Also I experience a lot of bad luck on cash tables where I lose in my eyes too often with big hands. I also see that I play even more tight with very strong hands in situations where I should push and could get way more out of my opponent. I let my play change because of bad beats or setups. And in the long end this means losing for me.

I have noticed that my online mtt tournaments work out way better for me and only with this I got some winnings. So I will try not to hit the cashgames and concentrate myself on mtt tournaments more now.

Is there anyone with the same experience here? Please quote:)

I very rarely play cash games, they just do not attract me, I love tournaments and mostly play them

Cash games are hard for me too. The fact that they have no end means that I end up playing until I win big or lose big. I have heard recommendations to play with a time limit though to counter this

I will let myself lose 1 to 3 buyins a day. Once I lose that, I know I will be on tilt the rest of the day, so I wait to play until another day, when my head is clear.

You can do it

Hello, you should not give up and leave it like that, unless you really can't solve those problems, but clearly they are solvable, I have gone from having bad streaks and losing a lot, I was obviously very angry but I learned to carry them, when I see that they do not I am in conditions I stop playing, I do it after a while or the next day but when it is 100%, cheers, you can improve!

Poker is a game of strategy. I am a winning player at zoom cash tables because I have managed to understand the logic and how to exploit recreational players. Everything requires effort, dedication, patience and intelligence, if you want to be a winner in this.

I agree with the tactics of losing a certain number of units from the bankroll. For example, 3-4 buy-ins are the maximum. Then emotions come into play...

And here I have a problem with a bankroll. When I have a lot of chips in the game or a bankroll more average for my level, I stop taking care of my money. As a result, I quickly lose everything.

you just need to learn not to tilt when you lose a couple of hands, this is part of the game. my advice is to play bankroll and then you will succeed.

Cash games or tournament games

It can be written a lot of advantages and disadvantages of playing cash games over tournaments. All is to that what kind of play you are going to take part of, because there are different types of players with different types of plays. Cash games in my opinion are more difficult than playing in a tournament, because there you can show your play into a limited players on only one table. Also the money there you can use can be very enormous and there are players that did not understand the fact playing in cash games with a lot of money are very difficult, because the players there can be with a lot of experience in play. On the other hand in tournament game it can be a lit bit more easy for everyone as you can manage to struggle with many players during the whole tournament. There are kind of players, when they are in the cash zone they started to play more aggressive as they know that they can not loose nothing until that moment, but play very safe before entering in the cash zone. I think the only disadvantage of playing in a tournament can be the time to get into the 1st place, but there are some kind of tournaments you can get very good prize finishing 500th place for example. Other vital fact is that to know what kind of tournaments to play with the current amount of money having in the cash, because that is affecting usually in your style of playing, e.x if you have 100$ in the bank and register 55c tournament you will play very relaxed and aggressive, but if you register 50$ tournament your style will be different because of knowing you have entered 50% of your money in that tournament and to get in the cash is very important compared to 55c tournament with 100$ in the bank, you know that its not a problem to finish the game outside the cash zone.
Can be say a lot more about this topic, but as I can see more people prefer to play in tournaments as me also there with a little buy-in you can get a lot of money, that is the biggest advantage I think in playing in tournaments.

I very much prefer tournament poker. I like to play the patient long game and I feel more gratified to outlast large numbers of players. I don't really see much profit in cash games I go up then down, then back up, then back down. Its kind of a roller coaster for me
