I agree with you, I played that QQ hand very poorly. I usually post hands on here that I am unsure about, or hands that I think I played badly so that I hear the opinions of others.
And I also agree with you that at this point I'd also be surprised if I turned any type of profit on this challenge as I only have 28 days left and I'm not playing cash very often.
I haven't closed my mind to the possibility that I'm simply terrible at poker. There is a reason I'm here posting on a strategy discussion board, by the way
A dose of humble pie every now and again is good for my soul and personal development. I am not claiming to be any world class player...I'm just on here trying to improve my skills at $1/2 and trying to keep a positive attitude. I feel that more than most other skills.... staying humble and keeping a positive attitude are keys to success in life.
Congratulations on your graph. perhaps you would like to start your own cash game thread and open yourself and your game up to us so we can see how you do it?

the EP player check raises all in for a total of $145. so only $55 more.
The MP player thinks for a minute and goes all in over the top for a total of $190.
Pot contains $608 and costs me $100 to call.
So I call.
I think it's the most standard thing ever but my acquaintance says because the first guy is tight and the 2nd guy knows that and goes all in, that I can fold becuase I only have 1 pair.
I think I'm never folding here given pot odds and stack sizes. If 2nd player has $500 back I can consider folding.

Hey y'all. sorry I abandoned this thread.
my goals of getting better at cash didn't change...but a bunch of tourneys happened for me.
anyways this challenge is over and I failed but I started a new cash game thread (link below) I've given myself more reasonable goals and an open ended time frame.
