Another Sick call here o_O you guys must be thinking I am a massive fish after this hand lol, even though I only had 5 hand samples on this guy he seemed like a maniac. And I didn't see why he would overbet shove the pot on the turn with A 10 or a flush/overpair or any pair. People at 6 max are just giving their cash away to me..

PokerStars Hand #90100704548: Hold'em No Limit ($0.05/$0.10 USD) - 2012/12/01 17:16:57 WET [2012/12/01 12:16:57 ET]

*** SUMMARY ***
Total pot $13.02 | Rake $0.59
Board [5c Tc 3c Td 8s]
Seat 2: Gabrihl (button) showed [2h Qh] and lost with a pair of Tens
Seat 3: Yoshimiii (small blind) showed [6d 6h] and won ($12.43) with two pair, Tens and Sixes
Seat 4: espalato007 (big blind) folded before Flop

Yeah pretty sick hero call Yoshi but a bit risky I think. You only had 5 hands on the guy...I like to be a little more sure someone is a maniac before making calls like this.

Do you often 3bet with small PPs or were you trying to iso the possible maniac?

Also, you should use auto topup imo to keep your stack at 100bb

Yes I have auto-top up for when it gets below 90% don't know how to have it to 100% all the time. I hardly ever 3 bet medium-small pocket pairs OOP, but three handed against this guy I thought he was probably just stealing. Also post-flop it is risky but I can't put him on a hand here at all. Anyway hardly ever make calls like these seen as you have to be correct the majority of the time.

Not sure what u mean Alfie? Auto-topping up doesn't affect my bankroll management strategy if that's what you mean.

Alfie - I topped up to $5 on that FR table cause that one guy who was tilting also did. Read somewhere that its a good idea to have a tilted player cover so that we can get all his monies :)

Was reading about the changes on Stars for Vip rewards next year, pretty awsome the lowering to 500vpps to reach Silver and 2500 for gold..

New Goal for everyone in here, be at least Silver by end of January.:p (we should all be gold by then but variance is bitchy.)

Higher the level higher the fpp x vpp range, Silver get 1.5 fpps for every 1 vpp, bronze is 1 on 1. So basically you are getting fpps at faster rate.

So lets say you play your fpps on sunday storm sattys (which is the best way to invest your fpps). When you get enough fpps on bronze to play 10 sattys you can play 15 sattys been silver because the 1.5 on 1 rate.

So if for those 10 sattys can bink at least 3 (2 pay on 6 max so is not that hard) will mean T$33 on cash back (you can change those T$ for real money), so if bing 5 from 15 (on the 1.5 x 1 on silver) means T$55, so at the end not only mean less rake payed but higher rewards.

You can see it like you get higher rakeback (more like cashback) because of the reward, and don´t forget stellar rewards, reaching silver mean you clear 1 stellar reward so $10 more free (After the fifth you start to get $50 by stellar reward).

So is free money that you can get just by playing more.

I was actually planning on trying to be the first 2nl player to buy the Porsche with their FFPs. Think Id add that to my December goals....

Had JJ vs Alfie in that hand above

This is great for me, I got Gold a few times recently but also missed out on it lots of times too by like a couple of hundred VPPs.

Thanks for the Tip! So you play in the Sunday million Tourney Sattellites and then once u win (if u do) you unregister from the sunday million tourney and pokerstars refunds your account with $$?
