Raise pre instead of limping. Raise the flop, you'll get value from weaker Ax hands and draws and you need to be raising with so many others in the pot. As played raise turn. As played call river, he played it passively then make a pot sized bet on the river which looks pretty strong. Overall you played it way too passively, don't slow play at these levels especially in multiway pots

Call river?

Hero (SB): $10 (100 bb)
BB: $12.17 (121.7 bb)
UTG: $10.15 (101.5 bb)
MP: $24.44 (244.4 bb)
CO: $10.69 (106.9 bb)
BTN: $12.18 (121.8 bb)

Preflop: Hero is SB with Jd Jh
UTG folds, MP raises to $0.30, CO raises to $0.90, BTN calls $0.90, Hero calls $0.85, BB folds, MP calls $0.60

Flop: ($3.70) 7s 9h 9s (4 players)
Hero checks, MP checks, CO checks, BTN checks

Turn: ($3.70) 4d (4 players)
Hero bets $2.80, MP calls $2.80, 2 folds

River: ($9.30) Qd (2 players)
Hero checks, MP bets $8.88, Hero folds

Felt like I should have squeezed pre but not sure. MP was a 26/20 and 0% Fold to 3b over 60 hands. He also bluffed when checked to a few times previous hands.

Co and btn stats? 4b/gii pre will depend on those, I probably donk flop, as played turn/river looks fine as Mp 3b calling range should include KQ/AQ/QQ/JQs,
only way im calling river is if his AF is too high + some history + been there for timing or how it feel. Some times when unsure what to do pre just fold instead of call 8.5bb from a 3b when oop and we don't even close the action, can't setmine profitable and been oop it make it ton times harder to extract, so i prefeer to just fold if unsure to 4b.

I could use some advice on this hand. This is a short stack table and that is why some people have aorund 50BBs.

Black Chip Poker 9 handed 50BB table

UTG ($1.15)
UTG+1 ($0.60)
MP1 ($0.31)
MP2 ($1.98)
CO ($0.88)
Hero (Button) ($1.81)
SB ($0.09)
BB ($2.81)

Preflop: Hero is Button with Q

UTG raises $0.04, 2 folds, MP2 calls $0.04, 1 fold, Hero calls $0.04,
I expected the player with 1 blind to go all in. I also expected that the initial raiser would just call. I guess I figured it was worth it to see a flop.

SB raises $0.08 (All-In), BB calls $0.07, 1 fold, MP2 calls $0.05, Hero calls $0.05

Flop: ($0.40) 3

, 8

, 9

(4 players, 1 all-in)
BB checks, MP2 checks, Hero bets $0.19,
When everybody checks I felt confident and I decided to bet. I figured I have a decent chance of having the best hand.
BB raises $0.57, 1 fold
When this player did this I was confused. I thought there may of been a chance of a flush draw but I was not too confident anymore. What sugestions do you have for this spot? Holysmokesx is Vpip 23 PFR 16 over 70 hands. They have a Agression factor of 7.0.

Eric,

Fold preflop first. You shouldn't be peeling Q9o on the button especially at these stack depths. Saying that given the way the hand played out I think folding to the BB raise is the best play. K9 and A9 are way ahead he could obviously have a small set here and even our q9o against many flush draws with overs are flipping.

Hey guys, second post here :).

What do you think of this scenario?

3c/6c My stack: $8.45

Im given Ace King off on the button.

Short Stack (20bb) raises to 18c in UTG

Big Stack (120bb) calls.

Folded to me. I raise to 48c to iso short stack (make him go all in) as big stack has been playing loose (call folding).

Small Blind snaps all in (80bb) (8th hand, not much info)

Folded to Me. I folded after thought

What are your takes on this hand? Was it the right play?

What would you have done?

I like the fold. I'm not big on AK AIPF, especially at micros, especially on a 4-bet.

I have no problem with the call on the turn, although seeing as he check raised you player 1 almost always has a flush or set and never a draw. As a lot of hands that he/she would raise on the turn potentially beat you on the river, I would like a check back. If he bet into you instead of checking on the river, it's tough but I think a fold is the best play here 90% of the time
