Seriously, though, I review the hands I marked in HEM while playing as well as most of the big pots. Both to figure out if I played those hands correctly and to take notes on villains based on those hands. i don't take enough notes while playing, so i make it up afterwards.

Ive started to prefer reviewing the hands that I have marked in HEM a day o two down the track. This way I cant remember the outcome of all the hands and it lets me start the hand with fresh thinking, not making up reasons to support the best play judged by the outcome of the hand...

Yeah, I mark and review before my next session. Generally when I stop playing it's because I'm making bad decisions so reviewing after a session wouldn't seem to be my best option.

guy kept min raising from ep and playing every hand, had the button so I was just hoping to take down the blinds and flopped 2 PURRR...
guy who raised was 34/26, and guy who called was 42/5. so thought it was a good spot.

I officially hate pattyr and coolnut, while theyre crushing 10nl i'm consistently getting my ass handed to me and all the while being berated by their graphs and hands lol :D

Peeleo, I'll make you feel better! :p

Grabbed by Holdem Manager
NL Holdem $0.10(BB) Replayer
SB ($6.97)
BB ($12.38)
UTG ($5.25)
CO ($10.59)
Hero ($19.79)

Dealt to Hero A 5

fold, fold, Hero raises to $0.35, SB calls $0.30, BB calls $0.25

FLOP ($1.05) 2 7 5

SB checks, BB bets $0.40, Hero raises to $1.70, SB calls $1.70, BB folds

TURN ($4.85) 2 7 5 K

SB bets $1.30, Hero raises to $5.02, SB calls $3.62 (AI)

RIVER ($14.69) 2 7 5 K 7

Hero shows A 5
(Pre 58%, Flop 40.3%, Turn 65.9%)

SB shows 9 6
(Pre 42%, Flop 59.7%, Turn 34.1%)

Hero wins $13.99

Villain runs 41/14, after he check/cold calls on the flop he may as well be playing face up imo, turn shove for me is easy with 2nd pair, just hoping he's not holding a K flush draw.

Peeleo if you wanna crush 10NL come join me on the Entraction network lol :D

Tonight, quick 800 hands just over an hours play +5BI shipp shipp shipp my run good continues!

Does EV ever really balance out? I'm 15 BI's below EV for February and March combined. This is a serious question, not just a vent. Also this is ~52k hands.

Yes. Your winnings will most probably be higher at some point than your EV.

I ended feb 14 bi's below all in Ev, in March I'm up 2.5bi's, for the year I'm 9 bi's below over 128K hands.

It'll even out over time (I hope) - but it's really not a great indicator of anything, it doesn't measure the coolers and how you played before getting all in, what ranges you were getting it all in on, or how you played when you weren't all in.

Omg, I feel like such crap. I want to go to bed, but I'm grinding stupid points for Ironman. Wah. Bad case of the whine flu.

Feb to now, +13 BI. I was crushed to find that's a pitiful 3 BI over EV, so I haven't actually been good, I've just gotten good cards. Damn it. This game kills your soul even if you're winning.

Nice start to the month- I've been seeking out loose action in the wee hours when the drunks and maniacs are on the prowl. I've been playing some poker too- + 8 BI @10 NL overr about 1400 hands.

Stop looking at EV guys (says the guy who just looked at his). It either gives you an excuse for losing thus preventing you from looking at your game or it makes you feel bad about winning as much as you are because you're waiting to start running bad to make up for your run good. Nothing good can come of looking at it.
