Does stox have good PLO vids?

Just to make clear that wasn't meant to be offensive and i'm not angry lol, I don't think you're the type of guy to take offence anyways. In my house we tend to say face a lot lmao.

Goals for March:

1. To really take poker seriously (live AND online)
2. To NEVER play poker while in bed.
3. To play ZERO games of cash this month.
4. To focus on Heads-Up and MTT's.
5. To determine why my LIVE MTT game is pretty good (relatively speaking, of course) compared to my online game.
6. To put my starting bankroll in this post and vow to do the same on April 1st (after April Fools) in the hopes that I will impress myself as opposed to embarass myself. Current bankroll: $15.41 (FTP)
7. To record ALL my poker results: LIVE AND ONLINE.

Monetary Goals:
1. $100 online; $300 live (weak home games - $10 6-man MTT's and 8-man cash games)

My cash game goals this month:
-Continue with using PT3 to analyze my play/sessions and help ID my leaks.
-Don't play when bored/tired/etc..
-Post a few HH for HA, and stay active on CC.
-Show profit @ 5nl and stay there until I am rolled for the next level!

So I played my first 5nl FR session of the month today... since I am now rolled for it. played 577 hands up $13.08 from the session and +$5 from bonus release, @ 22.67 BB/100. Hope I can keep the graph going up.

March:

Goals- to play a minimum of 20,000 hands with at least 8000 at 10NL.
- to raise more than 50% of hands I play
- to get get better use of HM
- to begin to identify people with high fold to c bet frequencies
- to get my 10NL win rate up to 10 BB/100 and end the month ready to move full-time to 10NL
- Get a little device that electrocutes my 'nads everytime I play a so-so hand out of position.

Febraury Review:

4 NL- PLayed 19,284 hands, Won $164.65, BB/100 10.67
10 NL- Played 3,442, Won $63.95, BB/100 9.28 (grrrrrrrrrrr).

3 Betting-

I am not a spohisticated player by any means so I let myself be guided by the strength of my hand, the opponents raising stats and my own feel based on what I have observed/made a note on. Then I take all of that information, ignore it and decide only to 3 bet with AA-10, AKs, AQs ever.

I tend to take any ultra aggressive move pretty seriously down at the 10nl stakes. Obviously I might discount that when I recognize the other player as someone who is liable to c/r frequently.

I personally use c/rs more often at rush (than regular poker) as a semibluff instead of donking.

Should have made it 25k and got yourself in the prop bet!

Good to see you grinding out some hands though man, GL!

I dont mind not 3bet bluffing at 4NL but you have to start 3bet bluffing people at 10NL IMO!

Im not sure if this is just one of those obvious things that everyone does, but I have just started doing it.

When you buy in to a cash game you should wait for the bigblind to reach you before playing, this gives you a chance to observe a few hands aswell as not paying for just half an orbit. Now I have always done that its just when I decide to finish up I would usually just up and leave all tables at the same time no matter where the blinds are...

What Im getting to is that you should really wait until you have played your hand UTG and then leave, thus getting the most hands for the blinds that you have paid. The easiest way to do this is when you are ready to finish up just uncheck the autopost blinds button. When the blinds reach you you can opt out of paying the big blind and close the table.

Now this might sound a bit nitty but the amount you pay in blinds adds up so much, you may as well look at it as you are paying 1.5 blinds to see 9 hands, no more and no less...

Yeah I have always done this too, and it is one of those things you would think would be a no brainer, but you see people leaving sometimes as soon as they win 20+bb like they hit the lottery. I think Chris Ferguson touches on this in his BRM strategy Video on FTP academy also, I remember him saying something about if you are gonna pay the blinds, see what you paid for before leaving.
